Squall X non-binary reader (I love you)(Finished editing) Modern Au

 ('    "Hmm okay, so as said before Squall, Cloud, or Auron. IDC but with the prompt as like the reader and him went to a party (separately), let's pretend that the reader had a date, IDK zack or something (oh later imma request a zack one), and the date ditched them.

     So there they are, standing on the balcony all sad n stuff and so the male you've selected from the choices above comes over and starts talking to the reader n stuff

     IDK making jokes about how dumb Zack is or something (I love him but id still do it)
OwO they kiss, Kiss fall in love, and bammo and Zack die, and everything is okay (I'm kidding please don't kill him).

     Also, I would prefer the reader to be male but nonbinary is fine too, or just female if that's all you're comfortable with" ')

                       (Y/n)'s pov

     *I started sobbing* 'Why? why do all of my dates go wrong? First Noctis ( Hey don't look at me like that I am going to mention them a little bit as their ex-boyfriend or girlfriend ok, ok back to the story[Update: I changed my mind a little with some of the Final Fantasy XV characters]), now with Zack. What have I done to deserve this cruel punishment?' 

   before the beginning of the story

     "Hey (Y/n), ready for our first date?" zack asked when he got here early... Too early, as I was almost dressed in my favorite outfit, I answered "Yeah, but Zack why do you want our first date to be at a party?"

     As I came out of my room, Zack answers my question "It was Yuffie's idea actually, but then started mumbling something about how her "plan is going according to plan", I tried asking her what she meant by that but she disappeared, but anyway you ready to go?" 

     I answered Zack while putting my shoes on, "Yeah, let's go."

            A few hours later Squall's pov

     "Yuffie, why am I even here?" I asked Yuffie while she drags me around her party, then Yuffie answers "because 1. you need to have some fun and 2. to destroy someone's date and get someone together *smiles and walks off*"

     'Yuffie... I can't right now' I thought to myself, that girl is nuts about shipping people, especially with my long-time crush, (Y/n), I smirked to myself thinking of how (beautiful/handsome) (she/he/they) are, but there is a tiny problem, Zack is (her/his/their) date, to be blunt I'm a tad bit jealous and I envy him.

     however over some time (y/n) look like they were about to break down, from what I saw, I was about to call out to (her/him/them) but (Y/n) disappeared from the party, so I decided to hear what Zack was saying, and to be honest I wasn't happy with what he said "To be honest, I only asked (Her/him/them) to be my date to my make a girl I like jealous, plus (y/n) isn't even that cute." ('I know that Zack wouldn't say that, I am O.O.C.ing Zack a little, please don't take it seriously, okay?')

I was so pissed off with Zack, but I was so worried about (Y/n), so I decided to go find (her/him/them)before anything bad happens.

     'Come on (y/n) where did you... hah! finally.' I thought to myself while looking for my crush, after I finally found (Her/him/them), as I kneeled to (y/n) and touched (Her/him/them) as they turned and asked "Hey, are you okay (Y/n)?"

  

              back to (Y/n)'s pov after 4 hours

     As I cry to myself at a stupid party, I'm honestly grateful that the party music is loud and almost everyone is drunk, including my stupid date zack, now I'm out where the bacony was, without anyone noticing that I have disappeared.

     That is until I feel a hand on my right shoulder, and I turned around I hear his very familiar silky voice asking me "Hey, are you ok (Y/n)?" 'Squall Leonhart, my crush, asking me If I'm okay!' I thought to myself.

     While he sounded and looked quite worried, I started to blush and I answer him "Y-yeah I'm fine Squall-" just as I was about to make a stupid excuse, he started hugging me and said, "you don't sound like you're okay, I can tell when you have cried." Squall said, then he asks me "now be honest, tell me what's wrong?" 

     And then I started crying when he hugs me tight but not too tight and then I start ranting to Squall about my dates and how they always going all wrong and feel like someone is planning on ruining my dates. 

     Then Squall, a man who has never laughed, started to laugh "w-what's so funny?" "Hahahaha *sigh* sorry (Y/n), but I was laughing at the fact that Zack and Noctis are fucking idiots for not noticing how (beautiful/handsome), wonderful, and smart you are." 

     With what Squall said, I started to blush as red as reno's hair and now it's his turn to blush because he then realizes what he had just said and started moving away from me a little bit, then he says something that I never expect him to say "...what I'm trying to say is that I love you (Y/n), ever since we first met and-" then I push him onto the floor and french kissed him, pulled off of him and said, " I love you too, Squall." 

     then we both laughed together, got up, and kissed again and this time it was a soft kiss and then we stopped when we heard a camera clicking "*Click, sniffle starts crying* my ship~." then squall yells "YUFFIE!?!?! Oh, you're a dead woman when I get my hands on you!" "MEP! *zooms away from Squall*" 

     "GET BACK HERE YUFFIE! *runs after Yuffie*" then a moment later I laid down and started laughing  "phht-Hahahaha *sigh* best night ever." smiling and then I see a shooting star falling and wish ' I wish that Squall and I stay together until the day we die'

bonus story:

Yuffie's pov before the party happens

     "Ok so here's my plan to get Squall and (Y/n) together" I the great ninja Yuffie show my plan to the gang without Squall seeing or hearing my master plan, why well because I ship Squall and (Y/n) together because they are meant to be together, not with Zack and then I hear Tifa asking a question about my master plan "Yuffie are you sure that this plan will work?" 

     "Positive! I the great ninja Yuffie definitely knows that this plan will work." "what if Squall tries to kill you?" Tifa asks me, I answered her  "phht- nonsense he loves me." "ok, I tried to warn you, Yuffie," Tifa said.

     Author -senpai typing in her small lair, aka Pen in her room:" Hey friends, sorry that I haven't typed anything in a while, with covid and college I have been having burnouts, not with Final Fantasy but with writing. 

     But as I get back into typing and editing some of my stories I remembered how much fun I had writing these stories and how funny some of them were, I still edit some stories, especially a requested story that I have given up re-writing but typing while fixing the story itself.

     I hope you guys can wait a little longer with some of the stories, and I hope you guys liked reading this story.
