The Seven Deadly Sins [MELIZABETH]

Chapter 5~ Saviour

~Estarossa's POV~

She lay there panting, screaming in pain. I taped her mouth shut afterwards so the guards wouldn't hear much else, maybe apart from the one or two muffles that escaped the tape.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, I could sense heaps of similar demonic energy flying towards me, which I didn't think was possible. If it were similar it'd have to be the same amount of power, and only my brothers have that. I'd assumed they'd have been dead after all these years. Maybe I'm just being weird.

Turns out, no, I wasn't. The broken wall in the princess's cell was caused by none other than my brother, Meliodas. I don't know how he managed to find her, but god dang it I wanted to beat him up right then and there.

~Elizabeth's POV~

Someone else managed to break the wall. This time....it's a little boy?? He looks oddly familiar. Everyone looks familiar. This is all hurting my brain!

He smiles at me for moment, before realising Estarossa is here. He gives him a sinister look, which I am confused at. They must know each other.

"Dang it Estarossa, you're at it again? At least you're completing my mission for me. What are you doing here, anyways??" the little boy asked. His voice didn't seem so young, which confused me. Was he really a little boy?

And he definitely did not have the body of a little boy. Sure, he's small, but he's very muscular....not that I find him hot or anything...it just...okay you can't exactly deny it, alright???
I saved all my thoughts till later though, and the stress got me, so I started to cry.

"Don't worry Elizabeth, we'll escape soon, okay???" the boy asked, and I gasped a little in shock. How did he know my name??

I nod hesitantly. I was about to escape what has enlocked me for so long. So many years...I could not help but have a smile on my face.

~Meliodas's POV~

I don't think she remembers me. I understand, you can't remember childhood, but it just kinda stings, ya know? Either way, she stills means a lot to me, so I save her.

I carry her bridle style, not knowing there were guards here. I run not fly, to make sure people know I am not a demon. Luckily, I'm a fast runner, and skillful at combat, so it should be easy to take care of.

In the distance, I see hawk-mama, with the rest of the sins by the tavern, which was on top of hawk-mama. I also see Liz, my girlfriend.

"HAWK-MAMA! OVER HERE!!!" I yell, signalling her to run towards us, which she did. She's such a clever piggy, unlike her son.

Merlin sees us and lets down the ropey-ladder, in which I climb up, and hawk-mama turns around, running away from what seemed to be the holy knights of Liones.

I look over at Elizabeth who seemed REALLY confused. She hasn't caught on by now?? That's weird.

"Captain. There's something I need to tell you. Inside the tavern." Merlin states, signalling the rest of them to comfort Elizabeth.

"Yeah, Merlin??" I ask, with a sigh.

"Elizabeth hasn't only forgotten you. She has forgotten all of her childhood.  All her memories are gone, and it's going to take a while to recover. However, she is able to recognise what is familiar to her and what isn't. So for instance, she knows you're familiar, but she doesn't know how she knows, if that makes sense."

All this just took me by surprise. My poor El lost her memories.

"How did she lose her memories???!" I ask, in a panic.

"Well, it was in an incident. I don't know what incident, but it links to Liones and can possibly relate to us." Merlin states. I guess thats enough information for me.

"But, you might be able to recover her memories, if you try and recall it all with her SLOWLY." she continued, emphasizing the word "slowly." I get what she means.

"Okay! Thanks Merlin." I say, with a smile of relief that just maybe I could recover some memories of hers.

We walk out of the tavern, and I see Elizabeth chatting to the others. She warmed up pretty quickly.

All except for Liz. Liz was stood in the corner, refusing to make any interaction with her.

"CAPTAINNNN!! Hey sweetie-poo!" she exclaims, and I say hello back. (She is commanded to call him captain although she is not technically in the 7 deadly sins, just his girlfriend)

"Is this Elizabeth??" Liz asks, with a fake smile, and I simply nod.

"Heya Elizabeth!" I say, and she waves back, giving me a smile.

"She's been introduced to everyone captain, and we told her to call you that aswell." Ban says, and I sigh, chuckling afterwards.

Normally, I command every sin and anyone else who travels with us to call me "captain", even Liz, but I can't stand the thought of Elizabeth calling me that.

"What's so funny, captain??" Diane asks, curiously.

"Elizabeth, you don't have to call me captain, you can call me whatever you want." I say, smiling at her, as she smiles back.

Everyone gasps in shock. "But captain, isn't she travelling with us???" King asks, surprised.

"Yeah, but she can call me whatever she wants, I don't mind if it's her." I say.

Liz rolls her eyes, as I just look away. I can't stand her at the moment, she uses everyone. But she's so manipulative that I can't leave her.

"Hmm, okay.....How about....Mel??" Elizabeth asked, which makes everyone nod in agreement, as I stand there, and maybe even blush just a little bit....they've never seen me blush so I try and look away.

"Captain, turn back around a sec." Ban demands.

"Whyyy???" I ask, pouting.

"Because we wanna see what your hidin-"

"It's nothing Ban, really!!" I exclaim, but Merlin uses her spells to turn me around, so that everyone can see my blushing face.

"OOOOOO THE CAPTAINS BLUSHING!!' Diane says, giggling a lot after. Elaine is laughing too, and Ban is giving me a smirk. Liz doesn't look impressed, though, but do I care?? No.

I know she's my girlfriend, but me and her just had a big fight yesterday, which may have altered my feelings a little bit.

Maybe I have to pretend to love her before anyone's suspicious.

"Never seen you blush like that before" Ban says, chuckling, which makes me slap him playfully.

"Shut upp! Okay, Elizabeth, that's a great name. Although......" I stop myself, smirking to myself. I finally have Elizabeth returned to me, and we can have all the fun we used to have with eachother when she was little.

She looks at me, waiting for an answer.

"If you're going to be calling me Mel, I have to call you Ellie. Deal??" I ask, in which she nods before she starts to blush. I remember how easily she could blush at me, it put her family in both awe and shock because she's as stiff as a rock when it comes to anybody else.

Soon after that, Diane pulls Elizabeth over and they start gossiping about girl things. Liz then finds this as the perfect opportunity to pull me over for a "private discussion".

Jeez, I wonder what that could be??
