It's scary when you're alone. Alone in the world, with no one but yourself.

Him: I'm sorry..

Me: I think I might run away..

Him: Imma follow you :)

Me: Please.. I think I might just.. LEAVE.. tewnight.. We dont' have to tell anyone

Him: Noo come on don't do that.. My mom locks the windows..

Me: Well unlock them

Him: Alarm... Come on don't run away

Me: Why?

Him: I love you.. i don't want you to get hurt

Me: I won't if you're there to protect me..

Him: :).. But I could never hurt my mom and dad like that.. I could never forgive myself..

Me: I just don't know what to do..

Him: Stay.. Please?

I stared at that last message for a while, not knowing what to say.. If I left, I would hurt him, and he was everything to me. But if I stayed.. It would hurt ME even more than it would hurt him if I left.. I sighed and wiped away the forbidden tear that was sliding its way down my cheek..

Me: I'm sorry.. Always remember that I love you..

I stuffed my phone into my back jeans pocket and picked up my LSU duffel bag. I slung it over my shoulder and walked over to my wall mirror. I fixed my hair and smiled lightly at my appearance. No one ever expected the head cheerleader to have a life as horrible as mine. That's why no one knew. Not even Caisson.

Him: No please Alyanna DON"T! Come on why are you doing this?

I didn't answer. I just turned off my light and walked to the window. When I looked around one last time I saw something that I hadn't noticed in YEARS. I smiled and walked over to my dresser. I grabbed my old Teddy Bear and hugged it close to my chest. It was worn down and one of the eyes had fallen out when I was 6, but it was still the only thing on the PLANET I could talk to. So I stuffed him in my duffelbag and walked back to the window. I climbed out and quietly slid down the glass.

I got another message from Caisson as soon as I stepped on to the highway.

Him: Aly? Come on baby please dont do this!

I didn't reply to that one either.

It was past midnight when I left, so the only light I had was what the street lights decided to give to me. I cursed myself for not remembering a flashlight.

A car slowed down behind me. I looked back and saw that it was a blue Mustang. The driver rolled down the window and revealed the face of a teenage boy. A VERY hot one.

"Hey. You need a ride?" He looked down at my bag

"I'm running away." He laughed lightly.

"You sound like a 5 year old. " And then he smiled.

"Thanks?" I smiled back.

"Well. You need a ride to anywhere?" I thought about it for a few seconds and weighed my choices. Walk alone in the FREEZING COLD darkness, or ride in a blue Mustang with who might have been THE HOTTEST guy I had EVER seen.. I smiled.

"Sure." And then walked around to the other side of the car, smiling the whole way there.
