POV-(Y/n):
I woke up. My entire body ached and my abdomen felt a bizarre sensation of both burning cinders and shocking electricity. I opened my eyes to see I was in a quiet room that I didn't recognize. It was built in House Redoran Of Morrowind's architecture but still it was odd. I looked down to see I was shirtless; a long brutal scar going up my lean muscular form. I recoiled a bit in a fusion of surprise and disgust. It went from right above my bellybutton all the way up to the top of my chest; just below my collar bone. There were small little red dots going up and down the outside of the scar; stitch marks. The stitches had just recently been taken out though since the wound had scarred against them. The stitch work was immaculate, but the fact that such a brutal marking now made it's home on my body made me both frightened and grimace.
??????: You're awake!
I quickly looked to my right to see my beautiful math and alchemy teacher, Shani!
The redheaded young woman looked at me with a warm smile of relief.
(Y/n): Shani?!
I immediately sat up; only to feel an even more intense burning coming from the giant scar. I put my hand over it and grimaced a bit as Shani quickly stood up from her chair and came over to me. She put one hand on my chest and the other on my back for support.
Shani: Careful! Your body is still recovering from the Goddess's strike.
I slowed down as the pain faded. I slowly stood up afterwards and stretched.
(Y/n): You're here all the way from Oxenfurt?!
Shani: Grandmaster Eno called and said you had been in a terrible confrontation on a contract job. Since his word carries so much weight, my Headmaster at the academy let me come sail here immediately.
(Y/n): Damn, Eno's word truly does reach across continents.
Shani: Thankfully, I may not have been able to leave otherwise. I arrived here to find you and Dram in the medical ward. You're lucky I got here as quick as I did because you were clinging to life! Barely.
(Y/n): So you patched me up?
Shani: "Patching up" is an understatement. I had to inject you with my last bottle of Superior Swallow so your internal organs and bones that were damaged would heal. Then I had to lightly cauterize the massive inner-wound to stop the bleeding so I could stitch it up! You're lucky Witcher mutations make you bleed slow or you would have been dead. Not preparing Witcher potions to help you on this contract was extremely reckless!
She sounded mostly irritated but also like it was masking a bit of worry to it. I smirked.
(Y/n): Awwwh were you worried about me?
