"Okay that's a wrap for the day" Petra said as they wrapped up filming a music video for Selena's upcoming album. "I say we should drink beers and watch Christmas movies" Connor spoke with Selena disagreeing. "I think not, I say we drink hot cocoa and eat marshmallows and talk. After all we are at a cabin." They all agreed with Selena. "But can we do it before or after Abel's performance?" Selena looked at Anna "Abel is performing on TV?" Anna nodded and told her how he was performing on the Late Night Show. "I just don't want to miss this performance, I already missed the Heartless performance last night. He's performing Blinding Lights tonight." Selena took her phone out and went to google to look up the performance. They all gathered around her to watch it.
Selena was amused by his performance. She loved his little Michael Jackson hip thrust move. "He is so amazing" Selena said softly as she watched. Anna looked over at her seeing a smile form on Selena's face as her eyes were glued on the phone. After the performance Selena closed the screen before putting her phone down. "Well if we're going to watch him perform tonight I say we grab a bite to eat." Anna smiled at Selena and nodded.

Watching Abel's Heartless performance brought back many incredible memories of me watching him perform live while I stood in the pit singing along and dancing along as he sung. God knows how much I love his elegant voice. I heard Heartless before but I haven't heard Blinding Lights yet. I can't wait to see him perform it, I already know it'll be just as good as Heartless.
"God I'm so full" Selena rubbed her stomach and sat back in the couch. They had ordered pizza and wings with a desert pizza. "Any room for desert?" Petra asked with Selena raising her eyebrows up before shaking her head. "Not a chance right now." Anna grabbed the remote and started searching for the channel. She stopped once she found it. "He won't perform until last that's for sure." Anna put the remote down before sitting down on the couch. "I can't believe you haven't heard Blinding Lights yet." Anna told Selena. "Well I haven't been on Social Media lately. I left right after Abel dropped Heartless." Petra told her she needs to listen to it with everyone agreeing. "I'll hear it when he performs it..."
After his performance they ate marshmallows on a stick and drunk hot cocoa like they planned. They sat in a circle in front of the pit. "Today was amazing" Selena spoke as she held her stick over the fire. "Your fans are going to be so proud of you." Petra told Selena before sipping her cup of hot chocolate. "So what do y'all think about Abel's performance?" Selena asked as she twirled the stick. "The real question isn't, what do you think about it?" Petra asked with everyone looking at her.
"I think he was great" she shrugged as she was on her phone lurking on his page on Instagram. She looked at the message tab before tapping it. Her friends were talking but she wasn't paying any mind to them. She began typing and while she was in mid-sentence a message popped up from him causing her heart to drop and eyes to widen. "You good? Sel, you good?" Caroline asked her. Selena slowly nodded as she read what he messaged her.
I'm a little too late but better late than never. Congratulations on your #1. I'm so proud of you. You've come a long way and I know you put your all into these singles and your upcoming album. 😎 If it's okay with you, I would like to meet up when you get back to California. I'd love to see you when I get back. I'm supposed to be here for 4 more days but I'll cut it quick so that I can see you.
"I know we have 4 more days here but can we head back to California tomorrow?" Selena asked her friends. "We can but why do we need to go back so soon?" Petra asked. "My grandparents need me" she looked down at her phone with a smile forming on her face.

Anna glanced over at Selena's phone seeing she was messaging Abel which made her smile.
