Nonetheless, the all-rounder will have to sit by the side for four to six weeks.
In the on-going ICC World Test Championship, Australia will be heading for their second game of the event. While the middle-order batsman will have to sit out throughout the beginning of Australia's first Test against Pakistan. The two teams will head up against each other from November 21. The fast-medium pacer picked up an injury by punching the walls of the dressing during the Sheffield Shield game.
He injured his bowling arm and later on, was diagnosed with a fracture on his middle finger bone.
Meanwhile, this would certainly affect his team who's gearing up for their next tournament assignment in November end. Marsh was recently picked up by the Australian selectors for their coveted Ashes Series. He ended up claiming a five-wicket haul in the last Ashes Test against England.
However, the pacer promised to not let his emotions take over in the game in the near future. "(Australia coach Justin Langer) told me I'm an idiot, basically. He was just disappointed for me," said Marsh. "When you get out in cricket sometimes your emotions can get the better of you," he added.
Meanwhile, he also mentioned getting fine scolding from the Australian Head Coach, Justin Langer.
