Buddy (Elf)- ESFP

Se (Extroverted Sensation)

Buddy, while being creative loves taking in his surroundings, and takes inspiration from the world around him, which is how he begins to learn about life outside of the North Pole. Of course, this can be a blessing and a curse, as he assumes things based on vague wording, as he doesn't have the thirty years in the real world everyone else around him has. He doesn't see the "world's greatest cup of coffee" as an advertisement technique, but rather it's actually the world's greatest cup of coffee. He immediately recognizes that the Santa at Gimbals isn't the real Santa, and calls him out on it. On the contrary, his Se allows him to have a rather artistic eye for things, and is able to decorate the store in a way that was so impressive, that the manager thought someone was coming for his job.

Fi (Introverted Feeling)

Buddy is very open with his emotions, but he still has a focus on his own emotions, and struggles to comprehend other people's emotions from time to time. Of course, he cares about other people, but he sometimes expects people to feel the same way he does, especially when it comes to the holidays, and believing in Santa. Even when he does something for other people, it is based on personal values. He wanted to find his dad and help him to be a better person, because he wanted a relationship with him. Buddy also struggles with his romantic feelings, and he had his brother's help expressing his emotions to Jovie. He is also different, but for the most part, embraces it and only sees it as a bad thing when he struggles to fit in.

Te (Extroverted Thinking)

Buddy takes facts as they are, even when these facts seem ridiculous to everyone else. For example, he was raised by elves and knows Santa Claus, and he knows this is a fact, and seems to not be able to comprehend why everyone else doesn't believe in Santa. The difference is Buddy has SEEN Santa before, and most of the general hasn't, so Buddy is able to accept this as proven fact, rather than consider it his own set of logic.

Ni (Introverted Intuition)

Buddy does have a narrowed focus on how things can turn out; him and his father will have a perfect relationship, they'll go ice skating and he will put him back on the nice list. However, while he does have a narrowed focus, he doesn't exactly have a strong focus on the future. He doesn't really have a way to get his father on the nice list, he just knows it will happen
