Saku- meaning Bloom.
Yurushi- meaning forgiveness.

I trained. And I mean trained. For two years straight. I never took a break. Not if I could help it anyway. Why? For the man who gave me new meaning and to protect the ones I love.

The final selection was coming up. I wanted to join as a normal student. But I was sent there on a mission, to scout and watch for any new good talent.

Anything worth looking into. I sighed. Too bad. I wanted to work my way up the ranks. But master insists I become a hashira right away. It doesn't matter.

I made my way to the exam site with no problems. Once there I was surprised to see a familiar face. "Tanjiro?" I let slip.

He turned around. I smiled. "So your here too." He stiffed. "Oh Tanjiro! You thought I'd be mad because you didnt hug me before I left?" I ask. And laugh slightly.

"Tanjiro. We both know I'm not that kind of person, no?" I ask softly. He shook his head and embraced me in one of his famous hugs. "There that'll make up for it right?" I ask quietly.

He nodded. Then the twins showed up. I smiled at both of them. Earning a nod in return.

That's when the twins started introducing how the exam was to go. I smiled all the way through it. My short hair was swiftly blowing in the wind.

Once introduction was over we were
told to head straight in but just before I stepped in, I said something to Tanjiro. "Goodbye, Tanjiro." I waved. "Bye, Saku.".

I walked around the forest for a long time. But, all I had seen were a couple weaklings and some demons. Hm. This mission is boring. That's when I heard it, a battle cry. Tanjiro.

I followed it to a large demon, a bit deeper in the forest. Oh, I remember this one. They said he was a lost cause so we didnt bring any men to kill him yet.

I was almost going to step in when my crow stoped me. I narrowed my eyes. So I just sat and watched.

Tanjiro is actually handling this vary well. Especially since hes a rookie. But I had a feeling he would make it. What surprised me the most was, how when he had slain the demon. He showed sympathy.

Why? Why, show a creature like a demon sympathy. I could see it in his eyes. Hm. I'll have to tell master about this one. Unless master is already here. Probably.

▪Tanjiro made a pack with Saku that every time they would leave each other for a long time they'd hug each other.

▪Saku has already accepted that she loves Tanjiro.

▪still puts flowers in her hair every day.
