That night Mox sat at the bar near the hotel. He had ordered a drink but he didnt touch it. Instead he just stared at it, Athena's terrified face was plaguing his mind. She was the one person he vowed to never lay a hand on yet Dean was the one to stop him from hurting her.

"You ok there pal?" The bartender asked, having watched Mox stare at his drink for the past hour or so.

"I'm fine." Mox mumbled.

"Girl problems?" The man understood that look all to well.

"You could say that."

The bartender looked around to see if anyone needed him before pulling up his stool and sitting down. Setting his arms on the bar he leaned forward slightly.

"Tell me about her. What about her has got you like this?"

Mox looked at the man suspiciously before sighing. He started at the very beginning when he met Athena in CZW to what happened tonight. The bartender listened carefully,  even when he had to refill drinks.

"So you think Athena hates you because of what you did?"

"I taught her to never give second chances."

"But she is here for you no? Sounds to me like she cares enough about you to break that rule."

"I doubt she cares after all this time." Mox said before finally downing his drink.

"Its not impossible. Besides you cant help who you love."

Mox froze at the word love. He remembered the look on Athena's face when Dean told her that he loved her. The surprise on her face and the vulnerability in her voice. That wasn't how Mox planned on telling her, well if he was ever going too. But what if she loved him back? Would he be able to forgive himself for putting his hands on her? Would she ever trust him again?

"If I were you though." The bartender said pulling Mox out of his thoughts. "I'd tell her how you feel before someone comes in and wins her heart."

Mox put a twenty on the bar before racing back to the hotel. He couldn't lose Athena. She meant way to much to him.

The Hotel

Athena sat crisscross in her makeshift bed in the middle of the living room floor. Music quietly echoed throughout the room as she read her favorite book series, Harry Potter.

At first she didnt hear the knock on the door. Her mind was filled with nothing other than Hogwarts and how she wished she could go.

A second set of knocks startled her  pushing her glasses further up her nose, she stood making sure she was semi decent  opening the door she was shocked to see Randy standing there.

"Randy? What can I do for you?"

"I was just checking up on you. You know with the whole Authority thing going on."

"Thanks... I'm ok though. I've been through worse."

They stood there awkwardly silent for a few seconds before Randy spoke up. "I guess I'll see you next week then."

"Yeah. Goodnight."

Randy stood there a little longer like he was hoping she would invite him in. Athena however shut the door. She didnt trust Randy or the Authority but the more she thought about it the more she realized that she only trusted one other person other than herself.

Another knock on the door made her roll her eyes. "I thought I already told you-" she opened the door. "Mox?"

"Were you expecting someone else?" Mox took in her appearance and hid a smile seeing her decked out in her Harry Potter pjs.

Athena stepped to the side to let him in. "Its late Mox."

He walked into the room before she shut the door. "I didnt know you wore glasses. They're kinda cute."

Mox smirked at the glare he was receiving. "What do you want Mox?"

"I wanna talk."

"How much have you had to drink?" Athena could smell the alcohol on him. She knew he was either in a bar or or drunk. And whenever Mox drinks and wants to 'talk' it always escalated into more.

"A watered down, room temperature shot." She looked at him skeptically before nodding, signifying him to continue. "I wanted to apologize for what I did."

"Mox dont."

"I need to do this doll."

"You never take responsibility for your actions and I'd rather not hear whatever excuses you found at the bottom of a bottle."

Mox followed Athena as she went into the the kitchen. He couldn't let her walk away. "I'm trying to take responsibility. I was jealous ok?"

That stopped Athena in her tracks. "Did you just say you were jealous?"

"Yes. Just the thought of you even thinking about accepting Randy's apology pissed me off."

"But I didnt."

"I know. But I was scared of losing you ok?" Mox paused, trying to build up the courage. "I was losing you and I never got to tall you how I felt."

Athena stood in silence, never seeing this side of Moxley before.she honestly didnt know this side existed. "What are you saying Mox?"

"I love you."

Both of them stood in silence. Athena was trying to process what Mox said. She didnt fully believe it when Dean told her but now it was Mox who was standing right in front of her telling her how he felt.

She looked up at the man in front of her. She opened her mouth to talk but all that was heard was silence.
