"Oh my god! Mom i swear i will get up in five more minutes!" I said as she forcefully ripped open the blinds "Lucas Dawn Dreamer you have to the count of three to get up 1...2...3!" my mom counted down. "Hey mom like how I'm still laying down?" I said sarcastically.
"Lucas If you don't get up you're grounded until you're 18 and I can promise you that." "Fine I'm up happy.?" I asked in a very annoyed tone. My mother just smiles and nods yes as she exited the room. " I swear I'm getting a lock on that door when I'm 18." I thought as i reached to my phone sitting on the nightstand beside my bed. I unlock my phone and have 4 text messages. The first one was from Shadow, a girl i met in a car wreck a few years ago, but its crazy how we became really close friends through something tragic. It read "Hey weenie i'm not even home......." So i assumed that i sent something last night and just checked my phone too late.
As i moved to the next text My mom yells "Lucas you better not still be in that bed!" I lie and say "im just tieing my shoe laces mom i'm almost done" So i toss my phone to the side of my bed stand up and walk over to the dresser adjacent from my bed to get two pill bottles out of it. They read "Zoloft take one every morning with food." The other read "Xanax take only as needed for anxiety" I still haven't took any of them i usually just take one from each bottle and flush them so when my mom counts them she wont be suspicious.
I brushed my hair and put on a pink flannel and a pair of black straight leg jeans. i grab my phone and I'm on my way downstairs and then to the bus stop.
