It was cedrics funeral and Harry wasn't ready. Ginny said she would come to the funeral to pay her respect to Cedric and make sure Harry was ok.
She waited outside Harry's house until he came outside ready to walk with her. When he did come out his face was stained with tears and his black hoodie had a few wet spots clearly from crying.
They walked in silence but hand in hand. As they got closer to the graveyard the funeral was being held they met up with some more friends like hermione, cho and some friends Cedric went to school with.
And before they knew it they where there at the funeral. They could see some guests sat down in there seats as Harry sat down in his and pulled Ginny to sit next to him.
A few minutes later everyone was here and someone got to the front and started speaking. "We are here today due to a tragic death of Cedric Diggory, he died after being stabbed at night I would now like cedrics parents to say a few words" it was a man who spoke he wasn't crying and didn't sound sad he also looked like he didn't care for Cedric.
Then cedrics parents spoke they talked about how Cedric was loyal and caring and he loved everyone no matter if there personality. They talked about some memories they shared with him and then said they wanted Harry to say something about Cedric cause they knew how close they was together.
"Cedrics death should not of happened Cedric did nothing to deserve death, ever since I first saw him I knew he was a trustworthy, loyal and amazing boy and this is why we need to fight against knife crime"
......
The funeral was now at an end. If people weren't crying at the beginning they where now. Harry felt like he could breath again when he walked away from the graveyard.
Harry and Ginny held hands as they walked home. Harry going to drop her off at the burrow before heading off to his own home.
Ever since the self harm incident he didn't like being at number 12 but he didn't really have anywhere else to go. The only reason he didn't like it was because Remus and Sirius where doing a closer look on Harry and making him uncomfortable, it's what had to happen if he didn't want to be sent away to get help.
He signed as he returned back to reality he looked around to check where he was and saw the burrow. Ginny was walking somewhere else so Harry squeezed her hand to bring her back to reality.
"What.....oh" Ginny said as returned back to reality she didn't know what she had been dreaming of. Still she looked around just like Harry had and then went in the direction of her house.
They went to the front door then Ginny realised something there was mistletoe on the door. It wasn't even Christmas. She immediately knew one thing Fred and George put that mistletoe there.
"Harry there's mistletoe on the door" Ginny told Harry. Harry looked up and realised there was. Who would do this to them? "Well a tradition is a tradition right?" Harry said before kissing Ginny on the lips and Ginny kissed him back. It wasn't a short kiss either it lasted quite a while.
When they pulled away Harry said "I love you and I'll see you later" and left her shocked at the door. He laughed seeing her expression and waved goodbye to her.
He walked home smiling to himself he hadn't realised he loved Ginny. He hadn't realised he loved her smile, her hair, her freckles, and the way she would always put her hair behind her ears as she blushed.
He had been in love with Ginny all this time and he hadn't even realised. They really don't lie when they say the potter family are the most oblivious people on earth.
