It's been two years sense Noctis had made the ultimate sacrifice to give his life for his people. You and Ignis has had been in a relationship sense then. The two of you have purchase a cozy apartment where it overlooked Insomnia. Even though Ignis is blind you can tell he stilled enjoyed it. These years have been stressful for him though without Noctis it's like a part of him was gone. You've helped him get better moving around. Sometimes you worry for him the most even when your at work.

One day you walked home even though Ignis offered to give you a ride you said your fine and walking home will help you clear your head from work.

You kept pondering as you bumped into Prompto.

" Hey Y/n long time no see!" He said, after two years he was still his bubbly self " Great to see you too I'm just walking home how's things with you?" You said.

" Oh everything is okay I guess I work with Cindy at the garage a lot I'm still waiting for the day she'll like me as much as I like her" He said

" But I thought she said she was married to her work" you smiled " Wel- yea, I guess your right, I'm still waiting for the day though, alright I gotta go see you later Y/n!" He said and ran off
You smiled and kept on walking home watching the sun go down.

" Ignis! I'm home honey!" You said taking your shoes off and walking through kitchen smelling the great food that he cooks you hugged him from behind.

" How was your day?" He asked.
" It was okay, but I have a question, you seemed sad lately are you still dwelling from two years ago?" You asked him.

He stopped.

Anxiety filled your head at the question you asked.
" Please don't start" He said. " Ignis, darling, you seemed more upset these past couple years, I know it's hard to lose the ones we love but if Noct didn't make that sacrifice, we wouldn't be standing here" You said he turned off the stove and he turned around. You could see right through him there was nothing but pain and sorrow. Your heart hurt as you saw him like that, so you tried your best to cheer him up. " Hey let's eat dinner and talk about this in the morning okay? We can cuddle and watch one of your favorite shows!" You said

" Thanks Y/n, I needed that" He said
" Needed what?" You asked. " For being here with me, without you I don't know who I'd cook for" He smiled. You smiled as well as the two of you cuddled for the rest of the night protecting one another.
