***Demetri's POV***

It's the little things that make you think harder than you care to.

All day, my dad's attitude has weighed heavily on my mind. I can't wrap my head around what could be causing his mood. Dad has always been a cheery man. I have never caught anything but love in his tone.

So, here I am dissecting and analyzing this morning's events.

I gotta do something to get out of my own head. I'm driving myself nuts.

"Mate" Renzo barks.

"What is it Renzo?" I ask.

"Mate can help you." Renzo clarifies.

"Yeah buddy, you're right. I will go find Livy." I agreed.

At least my wolf can think clearly thru all my overthinking.

I headed to the pack house to find Livy.

"There you are!" I kiss Livy on the forehead.

"What's the matter babe?" Livy asks concerned.

"Just overthinking, don't worry yourself with it. I was wondering if you wanted to take a walk?" I asked.

"Of course!" Livy smiles sweetly.

I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers. Her presence already clearing my head.

God I love this mate bond!

We walked towards the stream where my dream took place, not so long ago. We sat down at the water's edge, quietly listening to the babbling of the quiet waters as they smoothed the stones which they crossed.

"Hey!" Livy nudges me.

"Hi sweetheart." I smile.

"What's on that beautiful mind of yours?" She wraps her arms around me and climbs in my lap.

I wrap my arms around her in return and nuzzle my nose into the crook of her neck.

"Just thinking." I state blandly.

"I caught that much. What's got you so worried?" She asks as she leans back and looks into my eyes, blue meeting grey.

"My dad seemed off this afternoon." I explain.

"Yeah, I could tell. Got any hypothesis on that?" She questions as she runs her fingers over my chest thru my shirt.

"Not really, but it seems to be connected to Collin." I shrug.

"Collin? That's weird." She thinks out loud.

"I don't know, maybe I'm wrong." I finish.

"Let's not think about that. Let's focus on something else." She offers.

"Did you have anything in mind?" I ask with a sly smirk.

She moves her legs to straddle me and pulls my face towards her.

I lean into her and capture her lips in a kiss.

***Alivia's POV***

I noticed Alpha Grey's mood this morning. I couldn't place why it seemed off, it just did.

Apparently, I was not the only one.

I decided to distract my mate from his over analyzing.

Demetri captures my lips with a kiss.
