"Sweetie what's wrong?" My mother's worried tone filled my ears and I began to explain as best as I could without crying.
"Felix if you felt that way about him why didn't you tell him?" My father asked once I'd explained and given them time to process all the new information. "I tried but he brushed it off and said Minho would be mad. God I'm such an idiot for trusting him." I groaned as I laid in the middle of the lounge floor. "Love makes people think and do stupid things sweetheart. Maybe you should try talking to him instead of avoiding him? But give it a few days and see if he reaches out first. If he does you're either important to him or he's scared your brother will get involved."
After hearing my parents advice I decided it was probably best to go home and try and distract myself. Instead I was greeted by Minho and Mingi.
"Why didn't you tell us about you and Chan?" Minho asked gently as he pulled me into a hug. "I didn't think you guys would approve." I replied as I started crying again. "We may not have like him at first but if he was making you happy we wouldn't have stopped you from seeing him." Mingi informed me as he joined the group hug in the doorway.
"But it doesn't matter now anyway, he's probably dating that girl." I shrugged as we all pulled away from the hug. "Why don't we have a movie night and order takeout? We can even invite Seungmin and Changbin if you want." Mingi suggested as he sat on the couch beside his boyfriend. I just nodded and went upstairs to change into a hoodie and some pyjama trousers since there was really no point in hiding the fading hickeys because everyone now knew who they were from. Whilst I was getting changed I heard Mingi and Minho on the phone, one ordering food and the other inviting the afore mentioned males over.
After about half an hour there was a light knock at the door followed by Seungmin yelling "Seungmin in the building." So I stood up and hugged as well as thanked them both for trying to stick up for me and supporting me earlier in the day.

"Lix if you felt uncomfortable you could've said, instead of posting about it on Insta." Minho announced to me as he paused the film. "I know you'd rather be elsewhere and that's understandable but sometimes being alone at these times can make you feel worse."
He was right, it may not have been ideal but if was for my own good so I once again pulled out my phone and went onto the dating app.
Yongbok: Good evening Chris Hyung! I hope your day went well!
Christopher: Good evening to you too Bokkie. My day was fairly mediocre. How was yours?
Yongbok: It had it's ups and downs but I'm currently fifth wheeling while we watch a movie which is kinda awkward and makes me feel lonely.
Christopher: It could be worse, all your friends could highkey hate you for being an insensitive asshole.
Yongbok: You're right it could be worse, I'm just glad my friends are here to support me.
Christopher: What movie are you watching?
Yongbok: Grease, it's my favourite.
Christopher: It's my favourite too.
Yongbok: Wow, if we ever met up we could watch it together.
Christopher: I'll keep that in mind, but I have to go to work now. Goodbye/ night Bokkie.
Yongbok: Goodbye/ night Hyungie! Have fun at work.
And with that I put my phone down and smiled.
"What's Lix smiling about then?" Minho asked in a teasing manner. "Just speaking time some dude I met on the stupid dating app Hyunjin recommended." I replied as I hid my blushing face. "Oh do tell." Seungmin continued the teasing. "His name is Christopher. He's 22, he's interested in music. He lives in Korea and he seems genuinely nice, which is always a plus." I explained with a smile on my face. Seungmin and Changbin exchanged a glance before Changbin started speaking. "It could just be a coincidence, I mean I'm sure there are lots of Koreans named Chris, but that's Chan Hyungs Australian name." "For god sake, just when I found someone I might actually like it turns out to be the dude I'm trying to get over." I whined and buried my face in a pillow. So I pulled out my phone again and tapped the app.
Yongbok: Chan Hyung?
Christopher: How do you know my Korean name?

Christopher: I knew you looked familiar but I didn't realise it was you Felix. Let me just start by saying I'm sorry and explaining what happened today.
Yongbok: I'd rather you just came over after work.
Christopher: I can just tell my boss I can't make it and I can come see you now?
Yongbok: It's up to you, but you don't have to feel obligated to come over Hyung.
