Life of Batteries

What is a battery but a vessel of energy, a vessel of life. It is cradled gently between positive and negative points of a device after its creation to give power and life to the world. It brings life in the seemingly most insignificant of ways. For like people, they are many that make up the vast puzzle of our world today.

After its creation it is given to the world. It is sold with a purpose. A purpose determined by the buyer's hands. It is placed in whatever "device" this society, or as we like to call "buyer" feels fit for this type of battery. These batteries are often branded from their parent creator's decent. No battery wants to be the Rayovac that burns out shortly after it's placement in it's device. Yet no battery has a choice.

You're either a high priced Duracell, or a cheap Rayovac. Sadly, there is little in between. Think of Mexico's class system. The country has a wealthy upper class given to those who are born or married into wealth. Very few get the chance to make it the "Duracell" tier alone. Very few of them get to be recharged into the high class. Very few get the chance to be anything more than the dollar store batteries that last only but a month or two, dying quickly because of their lack in fortune.

These batteries are very sadly frowned upon as they live for a shorter period of time, yet the only reason they live for less time is their misfortune to be born as a poor battery. This is a travesty. Do they not bring their own light? Have they not powered your watches and remotes in a pinch when you need them most?! These batteries are being ignored as lesser beings, when really, they're batteries too. Each are a small part in powering the world. The world wouldn't be the same without the Duracells and the Rayovacs.

Every battery has something to offer. Respect it. It gives life to everything. Love a Rayovac, and give it a chance. You could change a life.
