You being the nerdy girl you are loved to read and learn new things but you were crushing on the bad boy and star quarterback of your school Hayes Grier. You always went out to the football field and sat on the bleachers reading a book or doing homework, it was always silent except for the football team when they were practicing.

Today you walked out to the bleachers and sat on the bleachers and starting reading.

You had been reading for about two hours, you were startled when a football landed in front of your feet making a deep sound erupt from the bleachers. You looked up and saw Hayes and about 13 other boys still on the field messing around, Hayes was waving his arms around signaling you to pack your stuff up and throw the football to him. You threw a perfect spiral and the boys watched amazed on how good of a pass that was. You got down from the bleachers and cross the field slowly towards the parking lot. You heard the sounds of a bunch of pairs of feet getting closer to you. "Hey (Y/N) wait up slow down." you heard Hayes call out making you stop in your tracks. "yeah what's up?" You said meeting his eyes "I um wanted to say that was um uh a really great pass!" He said scratching the back of his neck "thanks Hayes I honestly didn't know I could do that." I said smiling "well I was uh wondering if you maybe wanted to go out sometime." he said a little rushed "um I'm sorry but is this a joke I mean your Hayes Grier the bad boy, player ,and star quarterback of the team and you're asking an ugly low life nerd out?" I questioned with some shock "um yeah and you're not ugly nor are you a low life nerd but yes I am asking you out." he said grinning "oh and this might be really weird but I have liked you for a long time and I wanted to know if you maybe want to be my girlfriend?" He said with very hopeful eyes "yes of course I have liked you for a long time also."
