EMILY'S POV
As I locked the big white door which had lead me into into my new flat, I heard a young mans voice from next door, someone's voice That I recognised. But it couldn't be? No one from back home knew where I was moving exactly. Maybe my mind was just playing tricks on me. But when I laid down the final soggy, torn cardboard box I head him again.
"Okay then Sarah, I'll be there in 10!" the man yelled into the phone as I heard a clang of keys being picked up. Who was it? I thought to myself. Brandon? No. James? I don't think so. I carried on with my day as usual, unpacking my antiques, and vintage furniture I'd found in charity shops and auctions back in Scotland. My plates, cups and cutlery starting to mount up as one after another they came of a box. But as the hours past I could hear the man come back in. It didn't bother me until it was getting later on and I was about to get into bed when, I found I had a grey and mustard striped cushion on my bed sheets! So I plucked up the courage, walked outside, and went to ask my neighbour if he knew who's it was.
"Hi." I said quietly my brown hair covering half my face. "I'm very sorry to ask, but, do you know who's cushion this is? I found it in my flat and I wondered if you knew?" I said slightly louder with a hint of enthusiasm.
THOMAS'S POV
As I opened the door a gorgeous young lady said "Hi." I'd only just got back from a meeting with Sarah about my next audition, but this was a nice surprise to come home to! She was also asking ifi knew about the grey and mustard striped cushion. I did. I left it there for whoever the new person moving into the flat next to me was. As a welcome gift. "Yeah, it's a welcome gift from me! My names Thomas, its a pleasure to meet you." I said with a wide grin covering my face. She was so pretty.
"I'm E-Emily" she exclaimed with a stutter, I wouldn't blame her, poor thing, I'm a bit of a loud one if you ask me!
