“I don’t know that yet; either way, it is protocol. If I were you, I would be recording a statement with the police right now because the more she stays unattended to, the higher the risk. Trust me when I tell you that you don’t wanna be the reason as to why she never got treatment on time.” The paramedic said and left.

Happy moments turned to a nightmare, I did not know where to start or what to do next; just then some two cops walked in; a male and a female. They looked around then told me to accompany them to the station.

“Am I under arrest?” I asked, shaking.

“Are you handcuffed?” The male cop asked sarcastically.

“No sir, I am not.” I replied calmly.

“Then don’t be an idiot, we just want to ask you a few questions.” He said.

We got into the police car and drove away. I forgot that Mr. Ronny’s Audi was at the garage and was supposed to be picked up; I was worried about Daisy. I really hoped that she would be okay; I could not afford losing her just after we had started dating.

The two cops took me to the station, I recorded a statement of everything that happened except for the part that we were romancing and she was standing on my stomach before she fell. After filing the report, the cops called the hospital to give the go ahead for Daisy to be attended to and I was released to go.

I went to the hospital so that I could know how critical her situation was. When I got to the hospital, I was directed to a doctor by the name Joe; I was told that he was the doctor assigned to Daisy.

“Hey Dr. Joe, my name is Haman and I am here to check on your patient, what is her condition?” I asked.

“Whose condition? Which patient are you referring to?” The doctor asked.

“Daisy.” I replied.

“What the hell are you talking about? I have no patient by that name here.” Dr. Joe said.

“What do you mean you have no patient by that name here?” I asked getting confused.

“Are you a dwarf in English or something? Which part of I have no patient by the name Daisy here don’t you understand?” Dr. Joe asked getting pissed off.

“I am sorry doc, I am just discombobulated. A friend of mine had an accident and the paramedics who took her said that she was brought to this hospital and you were the doctor assigned to her.” I said calmly.

“I am sorry but you got the wrong address son, now if you will excuse me; I have some patients to attend to.” Dr. Joe said and walked away.

I was totally losing my mind, I could not think straight. Just then I saw a nurse walking towards me; I stopped him and asked;
