Ive been told to not hold secrets. But i have tons hidden from Alvaro. I dont think its a bad thing whatsoever, since those secrets are well kept and personal. I sighed, at the moment i was in my last period of school and i was already tired. I still had to go to work, then i had to work doubletime because employees decided to call off today. On the other hand, Alvaro's birthday is coming up. It was January 20th, his birthday coming on the 24th. My birthday passed, it being January 14th.

I hadnt decided what to do for the boys birthday, but i need to have him come out with what he wants. Hes closest to Kairi after me, so i told Kairi to ask him what he wanted, so i can immediately start paying for shit. I dont want to seem like a sugar daddy to him but shit.... I wouldnt mind. I laughed quietly at the thought and looked up at the time. Thirty four more minutes.

It seemed like Alvaro never left my mind, i wouldnt know why whenever im just chilling on my bed scrolling on tik tok my mind just goes to thinking of the short boy. Everyday he seems to stay running in my mind. Its like i never thought about anything else.

Welp. There goes the bell. I sighed as everyone started piling out and i got my stuff and started for the door. I grabbed my phone and headphones, plugging them in. I didnt get far with getting to the school doors when Kairi popped up beside me with a grin. I took out my earphones and looked at him curiously.

"I found out what Alvaro wanted." i gestured for him to go on, since he came all the way to the other side of the school to see me instead of texting me.

airi skipped in front of me with a wide grin before stopping abruptly, me stumbling to stop. My face tightened before seeing he was truly happy about something.

He placed his hands on my shoulders, shaking me." He told me to not tell you, but he wanted to spend time with you on his birthday. Its a coincidence because me and Mattia are going on a date. Mattia told me today, thats why im cheery. But im also cheery because Alvaro wanted three things," Kairi put up three fingers, me slowly smiling.

"He wants a new champion hoodie," He put down one finger as i made a mental reminder of what Alvaro wanted." A new red case, burgundy." he put down another finger as i nodded." Lastly, he wanted roses to put in his room. He loves the smell of roses." Ill get the case first, the roses then the hoodie." Wait what color hoodie?" Kairi thought before snapping his fingers." What color is your favorite champion hoodie?" I raised my eyebrow." Light blue?" i asked questioningly.

" Get him the same one, then tell him to wear it on his birthday." He grinned mischievously. I chuckled, shaking my head when my phone rung. It was Alvaro. I put it on speaker phone.
"Hello?"
"Alejandro... Im bored, can i come to your job in thirty?"
"Sure, of course."
"Okay! Bye bye."

I chuckled as he hung up. Kairi looked at me with a shit eating grin. I rolled my eyes before starting to walk." I hope i either lose these feelings... Or we work out." i wondered out loud and Kairi stopped me roughly, me looking down at him wide eyed. He looked into my eyes with earnest." You and Alvaro will work out. Give it time, Alejandro. I get that youre in doubt. You waited for years, just wait a couple more weeks or months."
"i dont think i ca-"
"Yes! You can! Dont say that! It took me and Mattia a couple years to get together and recognize our feelings. Just wait-"
He grinned again.
"Itll be all worth it."

I finally got to my job and was met with Alvaro sitting at the table with a grin, looking at me." Finally! Usually you'll be here first, what happened?" he questioned. I chuckled, putting up a finger and going to the back to change.

I made sure i looked good before exiting the bathroom and going on clock. Alvaro was staring out the window, tapping his fingers on the table. He was literally beautiful to me, i snapped out the trance in a couple minutes." Alvaro, want my card to go to the store or sumin? Im gonna be here for a while." Alvaro jumped up happily and my heart fluttered.

"I know! I know! Can i go to the bakery?" i smiled warmly." Of course. C'mere." i muttered, taking out my card from my pocket. He ran up to the counter, standing in front of it with an adorable smile. I gave it to him." Bye byee!~" he waved cutely, running out the store. I smiled wide, it dropping when multiple cars started pulling up. God fucking dammit. Now im stuck here without him.

After two hours i started sneaking fries and ice cream, everybody else also doing it.

"Alejandro."

I looked over behind me, the blonde manager leaning on the counter besides me. I hummed, continuing to eat even if i get in trouble. She eyed the ice cream, seeming like she wanted to say something but went against it." I have a question. You can choose whether or not to answer."

I was growing curious now, what did she wanna ask me?" Go ahead. I might answer." i said simply, turning when a customer came in." Welcome to McDonalds. My name is Alejandeo, what would you like?" It was a heavy set man, he looked like a racist and i already didnt like him.

"Uh." he breathed heavily and i tried to ignore his breath, keeping on a fake ass smile." Id like two large drinks, four big macs, three large fries and uhh.... Six cookies."

Damn, you too old to be a fat ass.

I smiled with gritted teeth." Will that be all?" he squinted up at the food board before slowly nodding." Okay, thatll be 20.24." he nodded." Not bad..." he muttered and it was my turn to nod. He gave me the exact amount and went to go sit down.

"Who is that boy that comes here for you?"

I froze. How could i say? I wouldnt even know. My mouth opened and closed repeatedly."H-hes my best friend." i slowly looked at her, she was smirking."Are you sure about that?" Why was she pushing it? I mean.... Am i obvious?"Look...." i sighed, her eyebrow raising as she crossed her arms."If im being honest... Hes Alvaro, my crush for about four to five years now... He doesnt know because hes.... You know- straight. I want these feelings to go away..."
"Youve liked him for years, they wouldnt go away overnight. Im in the same situation as you. This girl Victoria thats my bestfriend is straight... But im in love with her. Its hard as a lesbian. And i know its probably hard being a closeted gay. I understand how you feel."

Our conversation was cut short when Alvaro waltzed in with what looked like three bags. I didnt disconnect eye contact with Jazzy, who looked at Alvaro and smirked slowly." Dont let those feelings go to waste." She patted my shoulder, going back to the back.

I took a deep breath before facing Alvaro, who was grinning stupidly." Ale, Ale! Wanna see what i got?" i smiled." I dont get a break until an hour, give me until six, okay?"

"Sounds good!"
