"Tanjirou."

"Tanjirou!"
"H-huh?"
Tanjirou snapped back into reality and looked at Kanao, who was treating his left eye.
"Are you okay? You kept mumbling something.."
Kanao asked.
"Ah, yeah! I'm okay. Just... tired."
Tanjirou answered, giving her a smile right after.
"Ah... okay.."
Silence filled the room for a couple of seconds before Kanao said;
"I-I'm sorry about your eye.."
"Why would you be sorry? It wasn't your fault."
Tanjirou said.
"And look! We kinda match now!"
Kanao's face turned into a light red hue. She then smiled as she touched her own left eye, which was now blind because of her battle with upper moon 2.
"Y-yeah!"
Suddenly, a loud peck sound was heard from the window. It was Kanao's crow.
Kanao opened the window, allowing the crow to fly in.
"cAWWWWWWWWW-"
Kanao's crow landed on her shoulder, and continued to yell;
"THE PILLAR MEETING WILL BEGIN VERY SHORTLY, CAWWWWWW"
'Wait...'
'Pillar meeting??'
Tanjirou thought to himself, although that didn't last very long as Kanao's crow yelled once again;
"GO TO THE MEETING NOW,
CAWWW"
"Let's go."
Tanjirou said.
Kanao nodded and finished bandaging Tanjirou's eye.
Tanjirou grabbed his green checkered haori and puts it on as he followed Kanao out of the room.
When they got out of the building, they were greeted by none other then Zenitsu and Inosuke.
"Tanjirou, you all better now?"
Zenitsu asked.
"Yeah, I'm better now. How about you guys?"
"I feel better.... but Inosuke has been pretty down lately."
Zenitsu pointed at Inosuke, who was surprisingly wearing his uniform for once.
"Inosuke..?"
Tanjirou called out to him.
"What happened?"
"Is this about your mom?"
Kanao asked.
'Mom?'
Both Tanjirou and Zenitsu thought.
Inosuke looked away and hesitantly said;
"Y-yeah.. But I have you guys now, so I'll do my best to protect everyone..!"
The three of them gasped.
"Inosuke... IS THAT ACTUALLY YOU???!!!"
Zenitsu said before getting hit on the head by Tanjirou.
"CAWWWWWW, PILLAR MEETING PILLAR MEETING, CAWWWW"
Kanao's crow yelled.
"You guys are going too?"
Zenitsu asked.
"Yeah! Uhh we should probably go, we don't wanna be late do we?"
Tanjirou answered.
The four of them started heading to the meeting.
What awaits them there?
