Cat POV
" So who is excited? We have finally finished high school and our graduation is tomorrow night." Laura asked excitedly, as we approached the school parking lot towards our cars.
"I'm just glad it's finally over and can't wait to start University in 3 months." I breathed out in relief knowing that i will be leaving this place i call home and starting fresh.
"So are we going out tonight to celebrate? I hear Jaxon is having a graduation party!" Jade suggested while wiggling her eyebrows up and down. Normally i would be down with going to a party especially when it involves Jaxon, but right now i don't want to be under the same roof as him.
Jaxon and i were together for nearly 3 years, he is what you would call a stereotypical bad boy with a body of a god. He had mousy brown hair and the most gorgeous icy blue eyes and a tan that would make any girl jealous and i was utterly and completely in love with him, that was until two days ago when i caught him sleeping with someone who i thought was my friend, Arianna.
I ended up breaking it off with Jaxon and i haven't spoken to both him or Arianna since, Laura and Jade still don't know what happened. As far as they know Jaxon and i are still together and we haven't seen or heard from Arianna because she's been busy with the graduation committee. I haven't had the balls to tell the girls the truth, only because i am worried to be judged or labeled as naive for not knowing sooner.
"Hello... earth to Cat" Laura shouted while waving her hands in my face like she was drowning in water. I snapped out of my thoughts and nodded in agreement, "Uh... yeah sure why not, you only graduate once right?" I questionably replied back with a fake laugh hoping my best friends wouldn't notice.
It was time to start getting ready for Jaxon's party and the girls and I decided to get ready at mine, I had decided to go with a black and silver glitter short dress that stops mid thigh. The top part had a built in bra and hugged my curves perfectly, i paired the dress with some black pumps and decided to curl my hair to make loose waves.
Laura went with a low cut baby blue crop top with a matching high waisted skirt and black pumps also. Her hair was straight with a half up and half down pony tail. Jade decided to go with a strapless purple mid thigh length dress that hugged her curves and breasts all in the right places and if i'm been honest, it made her breast look better then they really are.
As we were leaving i said goodbye to my mum and dad, made our way out to Laura's car and started heading to Jaxon's house. When we arrived there were cars everywhere and loud pop music was blasting. Jaxon's house was a massive two story and was a cream colour all the way round. When we came to a spot to park five houses down the road, we got out and made our way to the house. As we got closer i started to hear my heartbeat beat dramatically and a massive lump formed in my throat. Regret and dread started to form in the pit of my stomach and i wasn't sure what to expect when i walked through those dark brown wooden double doors.
