See Where It Goes
Chapter 2
Louis' POV
I've only been at Penn State now for one weekend and I'm already in love with college. The food in the cafeteria is great, my classes are amazing, and I have a lovely roomate. I start classes today which is both exciting and nerve wracking. The classes I have today are English Literature, Calculus, and Biology. I have other classes too, but my schedule shifts around quite a bit. Glancing at my schedule, it says that my English Literature is in A Building. I think to myself "The fact that the buildings go by letters and the dorms go by animal names."
20 minutes later...
I've been walking in circles for what feels like ages. Finally, I see a friendly looking professor and approach them. "Hi, I'm new here. I was just wondering if you could tell me where the A Building is." The professor smiles at me. "The A building is the straight ahead and the first one on the right." I thank him and run, knowing that my class is about to start. I'm about to turn right and as soon as do, I spot a building with the letter A. Dashing into the building and finding room 342, I sit down in an empty seat in the back.
I grab my summer reading and notebooks out of my backpack. I then place them on my desk and look up in time to see that the profesor has started speaking. "Good morning everyone. My name is Mrs. Palmer and I am your English Literature profesor. This year is going to be an exciting year. We're going to cover everything from Shakespeare to Edgar Allan Poe." I roll my eyes and let mutter to myself. "Isn't that lovely." I'm about to start taking notes on some of the topics that we're going to cover this year. I pick up pencil and out of nowhere, a paper ball is thrown at my back. Mrs. Palmer notices and then picks it up. "My, my what do we have here. Could this perhaps be a love letter?"
Mrs. Palmer uncrumples the paper ball and instead of throwing it away, she beings to read it aloud. "Hey Louis. Isn't this class so very snooze worthy? -Liam" I wip my head around and notice that Liam is sitting 2 seats behind me. He has a grin plasted on his face and I try so hard to refrain from laughing. Mrs. Palmer then walks past my desk and goes straight up to Liam. She slams her pointer down on his desk. "Do you think that you're funny Mr. Payne?" Liam grins even wider. "I don't know, but George Lopez once tweeted me saying that I'm a freaking comedian." Everyone around me laughs and I can't help, but join in too. "Liam, I would like to have a word with after class."
1 hour later....
English Literature is finally over for the day. I sit through Calculus and Biology. Neither class was as entertaining as English Literature though. After a long day, I head back to Liam and I's dorm. I pull the key from my pocket and shove it into the door. As soon as the door opens, I run to my head and plop right down into it. I glance at Liam, noticing that he is reading a graphic novel, which happens to be a Naruto one. I think to myself "This guy could be my dream guy. He loves Naruto. Naruto is the shit." I cough loudly, in the hopes that Liam will notice my presence in the room. Immediately, he looks up with the same grin that he had on his face this morning. I laugh and throw a pillow at him.
"You're a giant goof, you know that right?" He laughs. I smile a bit at his laugh. It's one of the most beautiful laughs I've ever heard. "Lou, you know that you're going to fall in love with my wimsy attempts at being funny." I start to blush a bit. A million questions are running through my brain including "Could be Liam be gay?" and "Was he joking or being serious about me falling love with him?" I then decide to continue on with our wonderful newfound friendship and see where it goes from there.
Hope you guys liked this chapter. :) -Mary
