Will’s hands wouldn’t stop shaking.

He watched Nico walk over to where Percy and Annabeth were sitting, and slowly turned away, just so that incase Nico decided to look back, he wouldn’t see what a nervous ball of energy he was.

Will breathed in steadily, and forced his hands to stop shaking, trying to get himself under control. After a few moments he managed to steady his hands, although his leg still twitched up and down with nervous excitement.

And who could blame him? He’d been idolizing Nico for years, and had found himself developing a crush on the son of Hades. Some people would argue that it wasn’t possible for Will to have such intense feeling for the other boy, since he was hardly ever around and got close to no one. He never smiled or laughed, and was as dark and gloomy as they came. In fact, Will reflected, he hadn’t seen Nico smile since he had first disappeared from camp all those years ago.

But for some strange reason, the mystery that surrounded Nico just drew Will in even more. He wanted to unlock the secrets the boy kept hidden, to try and understand him better. Will was somehow drawn into the darkness Nico radiated, like light into a black hole.

After finally calming his racing heartbeat, Will began to whistle a simple tune he had heard some of his siblings playing the day before, and his eyes darted around nervously. He glanced over to where Nico was speaking to Percabeth (as the entire camp called them), and nearly burst out laughing as he watched Percy facial expression morph into one of severe confusion and then shocked realization. Will couldn’t hide a smile as Percy’s eyes bugged, and he swayed slightly as if about to faint. Annabeth, on the other hand, let out a short bark of a laugh and gave Nico a high five. Before long, the son of Hades was marching back to Will, a satisfied smile on his face.

“So, what did you tell Percy?” Will questioned, a small smirk growing on his face, “He looked like a fish out of water.”

Nico hesitated for a fraction of a second, “On, nothing much. I just told him about how I’m going to be staying at camp, and cleared up some stuff that happened on the Argo II. It’s no big deal,” he waved his hand in a dismissive gesture.

Will raised an eyebrow, not believing the boy’s lie for a second, but he decided not push it. They walked in comfortable silence for a few moments, and came to a stop in front of the infirmary.

“I’ll see you around then, Solace,” Nico turned, and began to march back to the Hades cabin.

“Woah there!” Will’s hand darted out and grabbed Nico around the wrist, “Just where do you think you’re going?”

Nico scowled slightly, “To my cabin, Solace. Where do you think?”

Will was shaking his head before Nico even finished speaking, “No way, Death Boy, you owe me three day in the infirmary, remember?”

Nico rolled his eyes, “I know that Will, I’m not an idiot. But there is no way I’m walking into the infirmary wearing this,” Nico gestured to the Hawaiian print shirt he was currently wearing.

Will raised his eyebrows, “You’ve been wearing that shirt since the battle, Di Angelo,” he remarked, “And you still haven’t changed out of it?”

Nico’s scowl deepened, “I’ve been busy,” he said defensively.

“Nico,” Will said, as if speaking to a child, “If you’ve never lived in the Hades Cabin before now, do you think there are going to be spare clothes just laying around?"

Nico glared at him for a moment, before finally relenting, “No,” he grumbled, dropping his eyes to the ground.

Will nodded, “I didn’t think so,” he dragged Nico towards the infirmary, noticing after a moment that their hands where still touching. Apparently Nico saw this as well, as his cheeks turned a barely noticeable shade of pink.

“Now come on Death Boy,” he said in a cheery voice, “I think we might just have a black shirt in your size.”

“Don’t call me that,” Nico muttered, glancing up at him and glaring slightly.

“Wouldn’t dream of it,” Will replied happily.

Nico rolled his eyes and looked away, therefor missing the large grin that spread across Will’s face as he thought about having the son of Hades to himself for the next three days.

Who knows? Will thought slyly to himself. He might discover that Nico a very rare condition that required him to be monitored at all times.

With these final thoughts, Will pulled Nico through the doors to the infirmary, which swung slightly in the breeze before finally shutting.

I just got really inspired by all the AWESOME Solangelo fanfics out there, and well, since I read the Blood of Olympus myself, I just can't let this opertunity go to waste. The book is oing to be 5 chapter long, with a proulougue, a chapter for each day, and a short epilougue.

Also, this is the first book I'm pre-writing, 'cause it just gets way to hectic to write something on the spot.

YAY!
