Making his way through the dark dungeon, Rian reached the exit. He grabbed Annie by her arm and covered her mouth hurriedly. "Shh, Annie. Stop crying.", he said, peeking out of the dungeon.

Annie nodded at him and stood straight until he had let go off her. "We have to reach to the Throne room, some way or the other." Saying this, Rian freed his sword from the scabbard, holding it tight in his hands. He took a deep breath and jumped out in the fight. Annie watched Rian fight as he was killing the ones that are already dead. She shivered at its sight when a wight fell dead near her leg. Never had she seen such a fight before. It was literally, the Dead vs the Alive.

Rian fought courageously, being true to his title. He indeed was a knight in shining armor. He let out a heavy sigh un-wielding his sword, he ran to Annie and said, "Come on, let's go to the throne room. This fight is endless."

Annie readily grabbed his hand and pulled herself out of the dungeon. She followed him blindly, trusting him that he would lead her safely. She closed her eyes each time he killed someone. "It's ok, everything is Ok", he said in assurance. Annie gulped hard nodding at him. She had seen violence, but tonight was something else. "Don't worry. I won't let them hurt you", he continued, smirking. Annie smiled at him surprised to see him act cool even when they were surrounded with such a horror.

She remembered their first kiss, the day he vowed to make her his Queen. But everything went downfall just before their wedding. The letter which read the arrival of the Night King and Jon snow barging in the castle with his army and then everyone realizing the upcoming threat, suddenly made them forget about their wedding.

She had hoped and dreamt about her beautiful wedding, of her and her charming prince, but now was not the time for dreaming. It was the time to face their reality, The Night King.

Rian realized that The Night king and his companions were walking in their direction. He swiftly pulled Annie towards him and shielded themselves behind the barrel. He knew he was taking a chance but also knew there was no way else to go. What if they kill us while passing past us? , he feared. He looked at Annie who had squeezed her eyes tight shut. She knew very well that this could be their last breaths together, yet she chose to be with him in this danger.

His plan to wed her, to make her his Queen were all ruined by this Night King. Peace, prosperity, safety also vanished on the arrival of this Night King. He looked around him to see nothing but death. He could feel, sense and even smell death. This needs to end, somehow.. This needs to end. He knew he was clouded with stupidity. His plan to kill or at least try to kill the Night King was taking over him. He was contemplating between staying hidden behind the barrel or to get out there and fight the devil. He looked at Annie, fondly, at his only treasure by his side. His heart skipped a beat when he realized that she was clutching his sleeve with her tender hands. No way I can risk my life and get both of us killed! But what can I do? What should I do to divert The Night King?

Suddenly a loud horn was heard blown far away from their location. Rian peeked out from his spot to see The Night king looking in the other direction. He watched the Night King go in that direction, leaving him and Annie there safe and alone. Rian clutched onto his sword and gestured Annie to follow him. He knew a secret path that would lead them straight to the Iron throne.

"Is this? If I am not wrong-", started Annie.

"Yes, the same path I used to sneak out from the castle."

Annie smiled warmly remembering the good old days. Their secret meetings, their hugs and kisses. "Don't worry, I promise you to gift you back the same.", said Rian.

Annie smiled at him knowing well that he would do it once he had promised. "I will be waiting", she said stopping in her tracks. Rian stopped too realizing a sudden pull by his Ann.

"What?", he asked her confused. "Let's go-", he said.

Annie pulled him towards her, kissing him like this was the very end. She kissed him passionately, eagerly, lovingly all at once. She kissed him like never before. Rian kissed her back with the same urgency, mirroring her emotions. "I know honey what are you feeling, but I know, I just know, tonight is not the end you are thinking."

A tear rolled down her cheek, as she looked at him admiringly. "You promise?", she asked faintly, knowing very well that there is a good possibility that tonight being their end.

"I promise, my love. I promise you all of the happily ever after. And you know once I promise, I make sure I keep it, right?", he asked with a twinkle in his eyes. His demeanor always changed when he was talking to her. The usual strong and ruthless knight would turn soft and loving towards her.

Annie nodded at him and kissed him again. "Now, let's hurry up, I need to claim the throne.", Rian said and started walking through his secret passage.

Within no time both Rian and Annie reached the throne room. He saw Jon Snow and the Queen who were about to kiss each other. He sighed in relief but was shocked to see what followed. Instead of kissing, Jon had pierced the dagger in Daenerys's chest. Her dragon appeared flying from the sky, mourning his mother's death. He picked her up and flew back leaving Jon alone in regret.

Rian in disbelief couldn't stand Jon's Betrayal. He pulled out his sword and sliced Jon's head out of his body. "Betrayal?",he asked. "That too in Love?", Rian looked over at Annie who looked horrified by his actions. He knew what she must be feeling but at the same time believed, "Never forgive a Betrayal"

He walked to the throne, glancing at his Ann, his princess, who was wiping her tears. He sat on it with utter pride, holding his sword, The River. "Come my Queen", he called and Annie started walking towards him. She sat beside him comfortably and cherished the view they were sharing in the throne room. She looked happy and was joyful sitting by his side. Tonight amidst the great battle, the battle of The Dead and Alive, Rian had claimed what was rightfully his. "The throne is finally ours.", he said admiring his Queen.

"Rightfully ours.", she corrected, kissing him.
