Swift, sly, darker than dark. Nothing to do but cause fear. Horror, despair, agony. No more than a couple words. Words causing harm, without a good reason. Ebony marks, etching your heart, holes caving, blood oozing. Swift as the cape, darkness drapes, a soul, a body, a mind, with a damaged heart. A pitch black sky, darker than black, deeper then scarlet, gayer than grey. A word unspoken. A lie, still heard. And yet, the aching legs move on, pushing into the air, thick with pain.
