"What?" Y/N asked as memories of her being the same flashed through her mind
"Yeah...Few guys at school sexually harassed her. She could not take the pain and lost her mental balance" Jimin said looking down
"How is she now?" Y/N asked
"She is better. She will get discharged within this year" Jimin replied
There was a moment of absolute silence. None of them said a word as the only sound heard was the clanking of glasses.
"I am so useless as a brother" Jimin said
"Not more than me" A voice said from behind
Y/N's head jolted up to the direction and her eyes widened. Jimin sat up straight as nervousness took over him.
"B-Baekhyun?" Y/N said stuttering
"Why are not eating anything chubs?" He asked
Y/N did not reply. She just maintained her silence.
"I am a much more useless brother. You want to know why? Because even if knew what was happening with her I did not take any action. Did not protect her the way a brother is supposed to. This is why this is the condition of my sister. It's my fault" Baekhyun said as his eyes watered
"No it's not!" Y/N protested
"I know you feel pity towards me chub but it's true...and I am s-sorry" Baekhyun said as his voice cracked
"It's not your fault that I didn't want you getting involved in my problems. Stop blaming yourself for something which have nothing to do with you. You're just wasting your time" Y/N said
"Chubs...my job is to protect you not let you g-get hurt and suffer. But I did not maintain my responsibilities according to that..." Baekhyun said crying
"Your job is not of being a bodyguard! You have your own life. First take care of that and then care about mine! I will deal with my problems myself" Y/N completed
Baekhyun did not speak any further and just stood there feeling guilty yet proud of his sister's strength. Jimin had his lips parted as he stared at Y/N in amazement of her abilities. Little did Y/N know there was someone who was witnessing the entire situation from afar with eyes that held desperation and proudness.
Y/N, Baekhyun and Jimin all took a seat in the table as they took a mental decision to finish of this talk at this instant.
"So Jimin, Jungkook had no fault in Orelia's condition?" Y/N asked
Jimin shook his head as an indication for a negative answer. The siblings sighed
"Then why do you dislike him so much?" Y/N asked with a soft voice
"Cause he has you and I don't when it was supposed to be me" He said as tears of frustration ran down his eyes.
Y/N's lips parted at the sight of the vulnerable Jimin. Baekhyun also had an incomprehensible expression but he must have been shocked too.
