Colour Within Time is based on the fiction of meeting your soulmate within a dull world and under a certain amount of time.
In this case where Taehyung meets Jeongguk. For their entires lives they've seen in black and white, they hadn't known what colour was nor had their friends. It was a dull life.
Until they met.

"But at what expense?"
