I stood talking with Trey for real for the first ever. It wasn't awkward, and it felt good. Even though I wouldn't say that he was completely forgiven. I don't know what came over me, but I do know that I was never one to hold a grudge. Even with a guy like Trey Jackson.

"So, Jessica would you like to go out on a date with me?" He asked sort of nervously. I smiled at the fact that I made him nervous.

"I don't know if you're that forgiven." I joked honestly. He looked a little disappointed but quickly shook it off.

"How about you tell me your reasons for forgiving me over dinner?" He asked. I laughed at that, and shook my head. Just then Paris came beside me, and dragged me away from Trey.

"What happened to 'I don't date people like Trey Jackson'?" She shrieked. I smiled sheepishly at her.

"I guess I got a change of heart is all. That wasn't even what my announcement was supposed to be, but improvising works." I told her. She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at me. "What about your silly little crush on Troy?" I asked her. Her cheeks turned the color of a tomato while she thought of a lame excuse to give me.

"That was soooo long ago. Why even bring it up?" She asked. I laughed at that.

"It was exactly five days ago. I mean if you want Troy go for him. I just want to say that I think I got the better twin." I admitted. Troy seemed like he'd be a nice guy if he didn't spend so much time being heartless. I peeked back at Trey and caught him talking to his twin. God, they look a little bit too much alike.

I turned around, and caught Paris gawking too. I smirked.

"Close your mouth. You're gonna catch flies." I told her. She looked at me to give me a eye roll and then she turned her attention back to Troy. When I looked back again he was looking at Paris also. They seemed to be having some intimate stare down.

"Wow, talk about love at-- how many times have you two looked at each other?" I asked her.

"Ugh just drop it. I am never ever dating Troy Jackson because as hot as he is he'd never go for someone like me." I frowned at her.

"Don't talk like that. You're beautiful and since when did you get so insecure?" I asked her. She looked past me, and that was when I felt someone tug on my wrist. I turned around to face Trey in all of his sexy glory.

"I never got to tell you, but you sounded amazing up there." He smiled a real genuine smile, and it made my stomach feel all fluttery. Weird.

"Thanks. So what made you apologize?" I asked.

"A change of heart I guess." He told me.

"I like it. So what's up with your brother and Paris." I made a gesture toward Paris and Troy. Troy was scratching the back of his neck while looking uncomfortable. Paris was the color of lava.

"Between you and me, I have no idea." He told me as if it were some big secret. I laughed at his mock secrecy.

"Well between you and me, she likes him. But don't tell anyone or we'll be on the verge of World War III." That caused him to laugh, and I just wanted to be drifted away by that laugh. I shook my head before my thoughts of him could take over.

"Well I guess I'll uh see you around." He said hopefully. I laughed, and nodded my head. He left leaving me feeling conflicted. Maybe a change of heart was the wrong choice to make
