This picture is one of my favorites of Esteban and I. He tries to act like he doesn't care but he and I both know he loves me differently in public then behind closed doors.
Esteban is afraid that if he shows to much affection to me to anyone family or not that they will use that to there advantage. They will use us being affectionate in public as a way to hurt me as I am Estebans weakness and his strength.
I know it sounds odd and different to not want to show the one you love affection in public but Esteban worries that if anyone was to see that people will try to take advantage of me. Esteban only wants what's best for me I understand that but I'm trying to get him to understand that it's okay to show me how much he loves me in public. Nothing will happen to me and no one will try to take me from Esteban. EVER!
Of course the rest of the family knows that Esteban loves me they just don't see a different side of him then I do.
