...but when we got to school on Monday I heard the news. My little girl asked me why everybody looked so sad, the lump in my throat grew bigger, with every question that she asked, until i felt the tears run down my face, and I told her that Alyssa... wouldn't be at school today.
Jason's pov
I got to school with Alena and went to go talk to the teacher. I said "I would like to report child abuse." and she asked me " Oh, is this about Alyssa?" I was suprised how did she know? and then she went on "I know this because we got notice this morning. Her father had beat her to death last night so she has expired." my jaw dropped. Then i gulped hard and said "Poor Alyssa." then went back to Alena.
When I got to Alena she asked me "Daddy Alyssa isn't here yet, and why does everyone look sad?" and I had trouble telling her as she asked more questions. and finally I started crying and told her that Alyssa passed away and wouldn't be at school anymore.
Sorry it s a short chapter I am busy a lot and I am trying to finish this story fast because I have two other stories I am working on.
