It was a normal, boring day for Jack Madison. Another day of his senior year of high school. He was longing for adventure, thrill, or simply anything to happen. Jack was gazing out the window longing for a feeling of adventure. Today he was going to do something, and he felt it. The terrible, terrifying feeling has not left him alone for weeks. Jack knew he was going to do something, but what?

"Jack! Class is over what are you doing staring out that window. Come on hurry up!" A familiar voice came from in front of Jack. It came from his childhood best friend, Jamie. Jack groaned and gathered his things. He didn't like Jamie, but he never minded her. She had long brown hair that she wore up in a messy bun. Her uniform was like the rest, but the top was a bit large. The two walked out of the classroom. Jamie was rambling on about her day like always, and Jack was barely listening.

"Hey! Jack, hello?" Jamie said with worry. Jack looked at her wide-eyed, and shook his head. Jack was never one to talk, most people teased him about not talking. Jack had short blonde- almost white- hair, and he had the most remarkable blue eyes. They were an icy blue like a cold winter morning in December. Anyone could get lost in them, even the kids who sat across the lunch room sometimes look at Jack's eyes. He never liked them though, they were too noticeable.

The two got to their neighborhood and split up like they always did. Jack lived in a beautiful house with his father. His mother died in a car crash when Jack was two. Jack was also in the car with his mother, he should have died. He didn't though and it always seemed strange, but nothing was ever strange for long.

Jack walked past the flower bushes that were placed at the entrance of the house. He rush into his home because his father was, well a father. He made cheesy jokes, and gave unhelpful life advice. Jack sat down on his bed and stared up at the ceiling. He sighed and thought of what he would do, 'I have to do something shocking. Something that will get rid of this feeling' he thought.

He was staring there for a while, just staring. Then as he was gazing into oblivion, he saw the most horrifying thing coming out of his ceiling. Faces, screaming faces. The eyes of demons, and screams that looked like they were in pain. Jack froze in terror. He tried to run, but his body failed him. He was stuck there staring at the faces, coming closer, and closer. Jack tried to scream, and shout, but that didn't work either.

The faces were horrifying and hellish. They looked like creatures straight from the depth of hell. These demons had eyes that could make any man scream. Jack tried to scream, to kick, to do anything. Jack couldn't even close his eyes. He started to fell pressure on his chest, it was hard to breathe. There was a black figure looking over him. Starring. Watching. jack was still resisting, trying to do anything. This feeling of helplessness, just like when his mother died.

"Hey Kiddo! Everything okay!" His father walked through the door. The faces retreated hastily, and Jack started to gasp for air. "Whoa Kiddo are you okay?" Jack nodded his head, and stood up. Jack started to walk out the door as his father asked where he was going.

"O-outside" Jack muttered. He hated his voice, even though the people who heard it always said it was the most beautiful voice they have ever heard. Jack head was hurting, throbbing even. When he stepped outside the bright light of the outside world hurt his eyes. He put a hand up over his eyes to cover them. His icy blue eyes were sensitive to light, so he didn't go outside very much. His Blonde hair swayed in the afternoon breeze. Jack took a few deep breaths before walking out into the woods. He walked into the woods and it looked like they never ended, Jack didn't think there were very many trees in his backyard.

When Jack stepped into the woods he felt dizzy, and fell onto the ground. He tried to get up, but he felt like he had just been hit by a bus. He was groaning from the pain he felt throughout his body. He looked at the trees, and saw eyes, just like the ones in the ceiling, but they were watching him. They watch him every so carefully. He tried to move, but failed. Just like last time. The faces were even more hellish than the last, but their eyes were huge. They never blinked. Just watched. Jack didn't like these, hallucinations. They were going to be the end of him, and he just knew it. Still struggling, he tried to break out of this trance.

He heard footsteps behind him, the footsteps were getting louder and louder. Jack felt someone grab him by the hair and pull his head up. The pain was almost unbearable. Jack started to cry and pray to his gods and goddesses. He started to cry from the pain.

"Hey! What are you doing on the ground?" An unfamiliar voice said from behind him. As soon as the voice said that the eyes had disappeared, and the man released his hair. Jack go up and looked at the Voice. It was a girl with jet black hair and purple eyes. He gasped, and wiped himself off.

"G-going for a w-walk" Jack managed as he looked down. The girl walked over to Jack and bend over to see his eyes. Jack looked up and meet her eyes. They were like his, but they were purple. He started into them for a while and got lost in them. He noticed he was starting, and looked to a nearby tree.

"Your eyes, there like ours. Say, what's your name?" The girl asked. Jack didn't want to reply, but he had too.

"Jack. A-and you?" He tried to start a conversation, but he just wanted to crawl up in a ball and cry. His voice was terrible.

"Lilith, but call me Raven," Raven said. She looked at the trees and said. She look like she was in a bit of a rush. Raven gazed deeply into Jack's eyes scanning them. And memorizing them, Jack tried to look away, but he got caught in her eyes. A flowing sea of purple they were, oh how they were enchanting.

"I want you to meet some people. Come with me". Raven grabbed Jack's hand. Jack pulled away quickly, he didn't like how bubbly she was. Jack just want to be alone and cry. Raven looked at Jack and he then shook his head and followed. There was a sudden change in her mood from bubbly to dead serious. He noted that she had mood shifts.

'Whatever happens next,' Jack thought, 'I have a bad feeling about it, but I'm exited for once in my life.'
