Dawn ~A KotLC Fanfiction~ (ON HOLD)

Sophie and Oralie sat in Havenfield's pastures for hours trying to access the cache. When the sun finally began to turn the sky shades of read, orange and yellow did they stop.
"It's getting late."
Oralie whispered.
"Shall we continue later?"
She asked.
"Of course."
Sophie said. And with that Oralie raised her pathfinder to the fading light and leaped away. She walked back to the house to see a note from Grady and Edaline,
Gone to see the Vackers and see how
they are doing. Will be back tomorrow morning.

Sophie sighed and sat down on the huge white couch. Her thinking was interrupted by a knock on the door. She walked over and opened it.
"Keefe!?"
She shouted and embraced him in a hug. He hugged her back.
"I'm so glad you're ok."
She whispered.
"Nice to see you too Foster."
He remarked. She leaned back to look at him more. He was still the Keefe she knew, with his tousled blonde hair and ice blue eyes. Then she remembered the bigger picture.
"Do you know what you're new ability is?"
She whispered. He nodded closing his eyes, he still didn't say anything.
"Let's go up to your room." 
He said. They walked up the grand staircase to Sophie's room that took up the entire third floor. They sat down on her bed, and Keefe took a deep breath.
"I manifested as..."
He trailed off. She put a hand on his shoulder. This seemed to give him confidence as he told her,
"I manifested as a inflictor."
He said. Her jaw dropped. She noticed a tear rolling down his cheek, she reached over and brushed it off. Keefe blushed at her touch,
"There was something else I wanted to tell you..."
He mumbled.
"You can tell me anything Keefe, I'll be here for you."
She said to him. He took a deep breath before blurting out,
"I love you Sophie!"

She sat next to him staring into his beautiful blue eyes, and without thinking she said,
"I love you too Keefe."
Then she leaned in and kissed him. For a second she thought he wouldn't kiss back, but he did. Just a simple kiss turned in to a make out session, as they both fell back onto her bed.

I'll let you guess what happened then. 🙄 Anyways thank you for reading so far and I'll keep trying to update this as soon as possible. 🙂
