Haha. I don't know what I'm doing with my life. I'm back at it with another story. I know, I know. I have three other stories that haven't been completed but honestly I don't know if I'm going to continue with them or just put them all into one story and not continue with them. Oops...
This story is a short story that I'm writing for my DofE skill. For those of you who don't know what DofE it's an international award created by the Duke Of Edinburgh. DofE award is a youth award programme founded in the United Kingdom in 1996 by Prince Charles, that has since expanded to 144 nations.
A life-changing experience. A fun time with friends. An opportunity to discover new interests and talents. A tool to develop essential skills for life and work. A recognised mark of achievement; respected by employers.
There are four sections to complete at Bronze and Silver level and five at Gold. They involve helping the community/environment, becoming fitter, developing new skills, planning, training for and completing an expedition, and for Gold only, working with a team on a residential activity.
It will usually take you at least 6 months to complete your Bronze programme.
You have do one, out of physical, skill and volunteering, to do for 6 months.
I am doing my Bronze award and I have chosen to do my skill for my six months. For my skill I have chosen to write a book over a period of 6 months. I will have to write one chapter a week, I will have to spend a minimum of one hour on a chapter. Knowing me it will take around two hours to write a chapter because of my stupid brain.
