There it was, days go by so fast... September 17th, Prince Oscars' 19th birthday.
Such a day should be remembered, right?
It was a very busy day for most of the people in the town, since the great King of Mellberdin has arranged a ball in the palace, wishing to, in that way, celebrate his son's special day.
Mellberdin is a small town in the middle of nowhere, sheltered by the overwhelming shadows of the tall oak trees, that are surrounding this small place embraced in flowers and nature that covers most of the town.
This place was very amusing to fellow visitors and travelers.
It didn't stand out by anything that much, but it did give a feeling of safety to the peoples that would come across it.
Those wouldn't want to go back home.
They would live great and long lives, with many pleasures and enjoyments.
But, as rumors say after they die, they don't actually die.
Instead, they forever serve the king that has faked his death and instead been alive, torturing innocent people and raping underaged girls that have seen him, and they say he has lived over 172 years.
Oh, wait a second, don't get hyped up too much, now. Remember, they are just rumors, right?
Anyway, let's get back to the main story and forget all of this.

-"Tom! Come out here!"
Tom replied to his mother's call with a simple "I'm coming mother!".
He usually helped his mom around the garden, so, he was probably about to do that again.
He watered the plants, cut the brushes, picked up fruits and did other chores.
After he was done with most of his daily duties, his mother came to his side and told him "Tom, you can go now."
He nodded his head and went inside the house to grab a pair of clothes and his basket.
Tom knew exactly what he was doing, and where he was going, but, you don't know any of that.
Well, of course, you don't, I haven't told you yet.
Tom would usually like to go for a swim in the nearby lake that wasn't so crowded in the afternoon.
It was in his only free time anyway.
So, as he always did, he prepared and set off to his place of relaxation and peace.
Let me give you a quick guide to how this all would look like.
The sun would start to set, and Tom would head out to the lake.
In order to get there, he would have to go by a rusty old path that was far behind the village, with the houses nowhere to be seen if you walked deeper towards the lake.
The tall oak trees would make the forest much colder and scarier than it already is when you step in it, especially at the time Tom would go.
The night.
Now now now, all this may or may not seem scary to you, but, he was not afraid, instead, he was happy.
The cold afternoon breeze would gently touch his hair and make him hyped up to run to the lake.
It would be warm at this time of the day. The dark blue complexion of the lake matched with the reflection of the trees on the water gave them a magical look. Trust me, you'd love it here.
The beauty of this place is unimaginable, that's the same reason I'm telling you this, not showing.
Because the word and the ability to picture the thing you're told is stronger than just seeing it. As I'm saying this, it doesn't make sense, but if you actually saw it, trust me, it would.
When he got there, Tom undressed and while naked, slowly, first entering with his right, then left foot, came in the water. The dark turquoise color of the lake slowly overtook Tom and he slid under the water.
He looked towards the sky through the water, all around him was overwhelming peaceful darkness, but, up there stood a natural source of light, it was the moon shining and giving out light to the calm forest lake.
How spectacular it was, watching this scenery while being completely relaxed to the moment where the water is freely taking over your body and moving it towards the center of the lake.
Also on the sky were a bunch of stars that focused around the moon, while a little amount of them wandered around, failing to reach the moon, just like the water carried Toms light body further and further away from the shore.
"What a beautiful scenery."-was what brought Tom back to reality.
It was a man's voice, probably around his early twenties or so, it came from the opposite direction of which he was on, he could make out a silhouette of a tall figure, sitting down on the ground.
'Oh God, he saw me, better get the hell out of here.' -was what Tom thought.
Well, it's too dark for him to see Tom anyway, but, he was furious and scared.
'I just wanted a peaceful break in witch I could just relax and not be cautious about my surroundings.'
"Hey, is there someone there?" the unknown voice of the man continued
"Wait!"-he said as Tom has already swum to the shore and he quickly picked up his clothes and sprinted into the forest. Completely naked.
'Ugh, what a mess I am, and who exactly was he?'-is what continued in Tom's head.
A noise of running and panting was heard a couple of meters behind him, which made him more scared but was already exhausted to the point where he decided to just turn around, cover his body with his clothes and confront the encounterer. He did the exact thing. As he turned around, he saw a man, in his early twenties, probably. His figure was now better seen than before, and Tom could easily see how he looked like. He had a slender figure, but with broad shoulders and a tall body, his blue eyes shined in the moonlight and his dark brown hair was slowly lifted than let down by the light breeze that came from the east side.
'He was, beautiful'- thought Tom as he was staring into the man's eyes while he was panting and holding his knees while catching his breath.
"Who- who are you?"-asked Tom. With his voice that was shaking, the encounterer could sense that he was scared and just wanted to get out of that place as soon as he could.
"Umm, I- I'm not to be scared of. I just lost my way and, I needed someone to show me how to get back to the village."-spoke the unknown guy.
Tom slightly chuckled at the man, well, why wouldn't he, it was a small place and, there was no way you would get lost when the path was visible even in the moonlight.
"Well, where do you live, dear visitor"-said Tom as he chuckled once again.
"Oh, uh, it's in the center of the village, right beside the grand circle. I haven't been here in a long time and I remember leaving when it was quite old, but, I guess it kinda changed a lot."
Tom shook his head and clicked his tongue a few times.
"Don't get your hopes up too high, your house was probably crashed down, and if not, then you've probably mistaken the town. The Grand circle is no more, they extended the castle walls 10 years ago and nearly all the houses that were placed near it were taken down to pieces so that there would be more place for the palace garden and gates."
The man, as pale as the moon was, just stared at Tom with his mouth wide open, with vivid confusion in his face.
"So, could you show me the way to the palace?"-he spouts.
"Uh, sure?" answered Tom.
"And, please cover up before we go any further, sorry if this meeting surprised you."
Tom's face turned to a light red color and he looked down at his body, he was, indeed, naked.
The unknown man chuckled and then turned around, giving him some privacy.
'Ugh, that was the last thing I needed, to be seen while having a swim.'
"I'm Oscar."
"Tom."
After he finished getting dressed, Tom spoke. "Now, let's get going, shall we?"
"I'm as ready as you are", replied Oscar "lead the way, Tom." He gestured with his hand towards the dark forest.
"Yeah, let's go." Smiled Tom and they both headed towards the village.
