Chapter 3

Arthit POV

"Hey there little brother."

"I'm sorry I don't-"

"Know who I am? I figured as much. The names Deer. Deer Rojnapat. I was adopted by the Rojnapat family. You know them right?"

I'm trembling staring at the alpha in front of me. "I don't...."

"I don't I don't God do you have actual words to say besides that? No wonder father got rid of you." He scoffed at me. I tried not to cry but tears started to well in my eyes. 

"Father adopted you?"

"He didn't just adopt me. He replaced you. After all these years he couldn't understand how he ended up with a thing like an omega. He was mad. He also couldn't tell the whole world what a disappointment his only son was, so why not replace you right?" I stared at the man while he continued to say these hurt words. "But when he got me, he wasn't satisfied. I was a pure-blood alpha, yet I still wasn't enough for him. He compares me to you every day about how even when you were an omega, you were better than me because I'm not his actual bloodline. You've made my life a living hell with your existence." He leaned in close to me "Now I'm gonna do the same to you." 

Before anything else happens, I get a whiff of the most amazing smell ever. My savior. My Alpha. Kongpob

"P'Arthit!" He yells running up to me. "Are you okay?" 

I'm bawling on the floor at this point. He looks between me and the man and decides he's a threat. Before I can blink he grabs his collar harshly. "What did you do?!" He growls out. 

P'Deer holds his hands up in surrender. "Nothing. I didn't even touch him." He brushed Kong off before walking away with a smirk on his face. 

"Kong" I call out. I reach my arms out and he immediately picks me up to carry me out. I clutch his shirt tightly between my fingers and bury my face in his neck. "It's okay Oon. I got you."

I feel myself slowly start to calm down as we walk towards the entrance. Knot and the rest of his friends come running up making a fuss. 

"Are you okay?!" Knot yells. I can see his concern. He seems nice considering I just met him. 

"Who are you?" Kong asks squeezing me tighter to him. He feels threatened by the presence of another alpha. 

"Oh I'm sorry. I'm Knot. This is Prem, Bright, and Tutah." They all wave while Kong just nods for good measure. "You must be his alpha. Nice to meet you."

"How did you know?" Kong asks

"He smells a lot like you" Prem speaks up. 

"Don't worry kid. We won't do anything to him. I can see how his eyes sparkle while staring at you." I blush and hide my face in embarrassment. Stupid Knot. "No but really we're not interested in him like that. We just want to be friends with him." 

I peek out to see Kong staring at them with his jaw clenched. He's really contemplating the situation. 

"Can you protect him?" Kong suddenly asks. 

"Protect him? From what?"

"P'Deer." I say. They all look confused

"Look. I can see that you are all nice guys. You're right. I am his alpha, but I am obviously not the same age as you guys. I can't always come to his rescue when he needs me." He stares at me sweetly before stroking my cheek with his thumb. I close my eyes and lean into his touch. 

"Nah man we get it. He's too exposed like this. I'm not sure what we can do but we'll keep an eye out for him when we can. It may not keep him calm like you do, but it's something right?"
