An Enchanting Reunion (Uma Reunião Encantadora)

And just like that, June 27th was here at last. The production opened on June 20th but Rebecca chose to see it a week into its run so that everyone involved could get into a routine and get used to everything. The girls spent all morning getting ready for the matinee performance. Per every musical experience Rebecca has gone through for most of her life, she really dressed for the occasion. A short yellow prom dress with a cream scarf to wear over her shoulders just in case the theatre was cold. She decorated her hair with five rose shaped hair clips at her scalp and her makeup consisted of golds, browns, and rosy pinks. Pablo met them at their hotel and drove them to the A Teatro Abril. Everyone took pictures outside the theatre with the marquee and in the lobby. They went to their seats. Rebecca looked in her program and saw the headshots of all the actors. "Saulo and Daniel are just as handsome as I remember." She thought to herself looking at their Beast and Gaston. She turned to their biographies and tried her best to understand what they read. When time came for the show to finally begin, excitement built in the house. Each scene and song brought back special memories of her friendship with the cast, and with each scene ending she remembered more and more what made these people so special to her. At intermission, a show usher approached the three girls and informed them in the best English he could muster up that Kiara and a few other cast members learned of her presence in Brazil and looked forward to seeing her post show. Imagine how her excitement skyrocketed! When the show resumed, Rebecca had a real hard time containing herself, but was able to get distracted a little bit with the iconic ballroom scene came around. During curtain call, Rebecca almost lost her voice from cheering for the cast. Some of those cast members remembered the voice behind those cheers as they bowed.
