(*quick note, elody is pronounced like melody without the m*)
3rd persons pov
"Whaddya mean he doesn't want you talking to me anymore!?" the young girl screeched through the small moldy vent separating two very small rooms.
"w-well... J-James said your a b-bad influence..." a small voice shakily started from the other side of the vent, trying not to upset the already furious girl... his attempts, were invalid.
"bad influence my foot!!" the girl shouted to the vent. turning on her heel and stomping towards a back corner of her small "room".
"what Cha two talking about?" a voice playfully called from the shadowed corner.
"you know exactly what we were talking about you numbskull, you could hear us the whole time elody." the girl snarled, glaring down at the mystic before her.
"could I, tera? could I?" she innocently asked. glancing up to catch her eye. tera mumbled for a second and plopped herself next to elody.
"you know full well that you could," she whispered as she pulled her knees to her chest. elody looked at her from the corner of her eye and sighed. she put a hand on teras shoulder and gently rubbed it, knowing that it calmed her down.
"I think your perfectly good friend material," elody said gently, pulling the still balled up tera closer, until she was enveloped in a cuddle type hug." we should probably sleep, heaven knows what time it is anymore, and we could have a lot of work to do tomorrow" she shuddered at the thought. now it was teras turn to pull elody closer.
"okay, lets..." she yawned tiredly, "lets sleep" she mumbled, her voice barely above a whisper, and as elody sung a small tune, tera fell softly into sleep.
*hours later*
elody could not sleep. she gently pried herself from teras grasp and walked to the vent.
"tell me a story" she said simply, looking at the vent" I know that one of you is awake," she said, her voice gave off no emotion, nor did her face." you've only been here what, a week?" she mumbled raising her voice ever so slightly.
"what do you care" a young males voice answered, he sounded like he was still in his teens.
" nothing much, just some explanation as to who you really are and why your here" elody said evenly. a small sigh came from the other side of the vent.
"sit down, and ill tell you why were here," James said. elody fell to her knees and strained her ears so she could hear better." we were sent to solve a problem in the woods," he began slowly." and possibly even get to fight." he paused taking in a small breath. "there was something that we were told before hand though," when the flame blows out, and the rivers run untamed, the wind only blows south, and the mighty lion shears its mane, the children will come from hither and yon,to fight back the storm, before all we know is gone" elody thought over this for a moment.
"well, thank you for sharing that information with me" she said calmly getting up and walking back to tera. "i'll be thinking on it" she whispered " and so will tera"
