A/N: This is an alternate version of the 9th episode.

. . .

Hunter could feel the awful metallic taste of blood at the back of his mouth, why did it have to end this? He was just trying to complete Keori's assignment, not get beaten up by a werewolf while people- other Werewolves and possibly Meif'wa's- watched him get beat up.

He dealt with this enough at home, or a place he was supposed to call home, he didn't really call it home anymore.

But this was worse, this guy- this werewolf- was 10 times stronger than him, werewolves had as strength advantage on him due to their naturally being born stronger than humans due to being half-wolf. He hated it- no- he despised it.

Hunter tried to get up, to get away from this scene, to get away from being hurt even more but it didn't work, he received a kick to his gut kicking all the air currently out of his lungs. His back hit the wall and he weakly curled up on himself, trying to shield himself from the attacks on him, he didn't understand, he didn't understand any of it at all. What had he done to deserve this? He was sure he hadn't done anything at all.

Hunter heard rough laughter coming from above him, and then a kick and his arms that were shielding his head, his head still hit the wall though, it hurt him a lot and had his ears ring. "That'll teach you to try and steal my mate," But he wasn't trying to though, she came onto him when he just wanted to learn about werewolf history. He heard the girls laugh, why were they laughing, didn't they want to date him just a few minutes ago?

"Damn, he's so weak, how could I think he'd even be an Alpha, he's just an Omega at best," He heard them walk away.

He had no idea what that meant, maybe he should have, maybe he shouldn't. Alpha's, Omega's and Beta's, what did it all mean?

Does the same thing apply to Meif'wa's? Does that mean Keori holds a position like that with a group of Meif'wa's, what would she be?

He frowned, his ears were ringing, it was annoying him.

But what would Keori be? Would she be a Beta, it seemed like people who are weak are Omega's, maybe she'd be an Alpha, Hunter thought, yeah, she'd totally be an Alpha with whatever that meant. Keori was cool, she could be an Alpha if she tried hard, just like she could be a runner, Hunter paused himself.

Since when did he care about what Alpha's, Omega's, and Beta's were all of a sudden? Did he have a concussion, he usually never thinks like this unless he had a concussion, it would make sense if he had a concussion, right?

Right.

Hunter decided that having a concussion was the best thing he could guess at, or maybe he was just making this up, he didn't really care either way though; the floor was really comfortable now that he thought about it. The floor was cold, he liked the cold, cold was nice, just like ice cream or a cool breeze on a hot day.

Ice cream sounded nice too, he hadn't had ice cream in a while, then again, he hadn't been able to afford to have ice cream in a while.

Why was it so comfortable to lay on the floor sometimes, Hunter asked himself. He didn't know, but he liked to lay on the floor when he was sad or tired, it made him feel better. But he was starting to feel tired as if something was clouding up any sense he had left, he didn't really want to get up from the floor.

He was starting to feel a little sluggish, maybe he could take a little nap, that wouldn't hurt. Besides, he felt that if he was going to get up now he would throw up, it felt more comfortable to lay down on this floor. But wait- he had to find Keori, she had to help him win over Annabell. He forgot, he wanted to see Annabell, she would make him feel better.
