Tails, the mechanical genius, was driving four heroes to Megalo Station. Sonic, the famous blue blur, was in the passenger seat, fiddling with something. Knuckles, the treasure hunter, was in the back, reclining himself. And lastly, there was (Y/N). One of Sonic's closest friends and a supportive backbone. As for this '(Y/N)', she was squished between the seat behind Tails and Knuckles' body.

"Robots made by the leading security company "MeteoTech" are no longer responding to commands and are running amok all over the world. The international security organization GUN has begun to investigate the event. MeteoTech has not issued a formal-"

"Is this the meteor that fell last night?" Sonic asked, over the radio, beckoning to the stone.

"Yeah," Tails added, keeping his eyes focused on the road ahead of him. "The sound of the impact woke me from my sleep. I found it outside."

Knuckles let out a loud yawn, as (Y/N) looked over at the echidna with her (E/C) orbs. She was frustrated, no doubt.

"We'll be at Megalo Station shortly." Tails said, obviously catching on.

(Y/N) directed her attention to the giant building in front of her. That was the station, she concluded. Tails turned the car into a tunnel, and the female (A/T) watched as the light of the daytime grew from a light blue hue with futuristic buildings all around to a much darker shade, the buildings as well as the blue sky hiding away behind the tunnel.

Before she could say anything, a surveillance camera quickly caught attention of them. A loud alarm began to blare, and Knuckles perked up immediately. The door behind the heroes closed, and robots began a chase to get them.

"Hm—? Hey!" Knuckles growled. Soon enough, the door ahead closed too; they had to turn around. (Y/N) furrowed her brows. Perfect. Just. Perfect.

"What do we do, Sonic?" Tails panics. "That elevator!" Sonic points out. The fox notices, turning the car around again and into the elevator. The force of the stop knocks the two in back out of their seats, hanging onto the edge.

Sonic leaned back in his seat and darted his attention to both Mobians. "Are you two alright?" He asked.

"If dangling from a car after being chased by bloodthirsty robots is alright to you, then yes. Yes we are." (Y/N) retorted, half-jokingly. Sonic snorted. "Veery funny." He shook his head, hopping back into his seat as the two lifted themselves to their own.

"What's up with them?" Knuckles huffed, catching his breath. "Are they the ones from the news?" Tails mused, deep in his own thoughts. What thoughts, exactly, eluded (Y/N). "Watch out." Sonic said.

The four sat in silence as the elevator reached the 300th floor. Once the door opened, dozens of robots were there, waiting for them. They begin to charge at the car, but Tails merely rams through them. "Go!" Sonic yells. Robots continue to attack the car, without success, as Tails shakes them off. That is, until (Y/N) notices they're gonna crash. "TAILS! THE BUILDING!" She screams. Tails perks up with a gasp, as do the other guys. "Brace yourselves!" Sonic growls to everyone as the car crashes through the wall. It felt like everything was going in slow-motion. The rubble flew, and began to fall. The car was a wreck, and the heroes were knocked out of the vehicle.

(Y/N) and Sonic begin to fall, whilst Tails flies and Knuckles glides to escape harm. "(Y/N)! SONIC!" Tails calls in distress helplessly as the two continue their descent.

(Y/N) clings onto Sonic with forced-shut eyes as he protectively held his left arm around her shoulders and his right on the stone. As he squeezes the meteor, a burst of blue explodes around them, and they're floating in midair. The rubble around from the wall was floating as well. The two look around in confusion, clearly dumbfounded.
