jeongguk took in a deep breath, preparing himself to m finally ask taehyung out.
❝hey, tae,❞ jeongguk called out, walking towards taehyung who was packing up.
❝yeah?❞ taehyung smiled, looking at jeongguk.
❝what are you doing tonight?❞ jeongguk asked.
'getting beaten up by you,' taehyung thought, looking down.
❝wh-why?❞ taehyung asked, not knowing what to say.
❝i was wondering if you'd like to come to watch my fight,❞ jeongguk grinned.
❝there's some new guy named v. never heard of me. he apparently paid to fight with me. you can watch how i can take him down in a second,❞ jeongguk smirked and taehyung gulped.
'i hope i don't die. i hope i don't die. i hope i don't die. i hope i don't die—'
❝tae?❞
❝h-huh? yeah! i'd love to come and watch you!❞ taehyung smiled nervously.
❝you think we can go out to celebrate my victory? maybe have a nice candlelight dinner?❞ jeongguk smiled, walking closer to taehyung and wrapping an arm around his waist.
'if i'm still alive then okay, daddy.'
❝i'd love that,❞ taehyung grinned.
he knew he was thinking about negative things, but he seriously questioned if he'd stay alive.
he wanted to go on a date with the jeon jeongguk. it would be a delight.
❝can i get your number? and we'll decide where to go?❞ jeongguk asked and taehyung nodded, giving jeongguk his number.
jeongguk being so close to him didn't help his poor, nervous heart.
❝i hope to see you tonight, tae. the fight is at seven. i think it'll be over in five minutes to be honest,❞ jeongguk chuckles.
❝like i don't need to boast, but putting a beginner in front of me wasn't the best decision,❞ jeongguk shrugged and taehyung nodded in agreement.
❝true. you'll probably kill him in a second—i mean beat him in a second!❞ taehyung chuckled nervously.
❝i want you to be there to see it!❞ jeongguk smiled.
❝i'll be there.❞
'in the ring.'
❝dress pretty for me,❞ jeongguk whispered, pecking taehyung's forehead and grinning.
❝i-i will,❞ taehyung blushed, running outside.
