TERRITORIAL

Hi EveryBody my names jess and this is territorial, I'll be making a series and this is the first book so I hope you will like it cheers!:-)############

Territorial-

Chapter 1:

The Night was cold and windy, Lola and her mama would drag their four feet across the uneven terrain.

Lola hated times like theses when you were desperate, we hadn't eaten in days,weeks even. But still no hope, we turned a corner to find an old lodge, me and mama could smell the fresh baked bread and meat- the thought made our mouths tremble.

Mama snuck through the gates leaving me behind the tree, she said it was our only hope and she told me once we got the food run.

I waited for a while to hear mama and suddenly I saw a shadow-it was mama! She had the food! Yes! I saw her run out and I ran with her we kept running-I was so excited the growls of the flat faces humoured me, making me feel strong until BANG It was so loud it made me squeal and mama dropped on the ground 'mama!?' I yelled but she could barely speak,

Then she said 'go, run, hide and find a territory unmarked you will be safe, and remember the fruits are our friends do use them' she Stammered,

'but mama you will be with me to right mum?!' I was frightened now, did mama want to stay and leave me? Why would she do that?!

'I'm going to join the star spirits i love you' she told me and she lay there, I tried to ask her questions but she wouldn't answer me her eyes just froze, 'goodbye mama I love you, rest in peace' Lola said before backing away to leave.

The walk through the forest was a long, depressing walk for Lola, all she could think about was Mama and the spirits, Mama told me a story, it goes like this-

Claudelia the daughter of life was hunted by 3 killers, every year Claudelia would fall to the killers and become a rstar for the remaining year and be the bear watcher, the time of the bear watcher is where no bear dies, but when red sky's come Claudelia becomes re-born and hunted, those times are the hard ones for the bears, so whenever you fall you become a star to watch over your loved ones too.

And Lola hoped her mother was watching over her to.

Night came like a cat stalking a mouse, Lola didn't know until she looked behind her a the moon was rising, 'mum would put me to bed now' Lola thought Suddenly a drop of water hit her head and another and another until it was pouring, Lola raced around panicking in the rain and in the corner of her eyes was a hollow under neath a tree, she squeezed in and it was an entire den in there,

Some thing that her mother could have made.

She runs around happy and excited at bangs into something furry, she opens her eyes and she's nose to nose with another bear cub, the two stared at eachother for a while until the the mother came racing out only to find another cub, 'who are you' the mother asked with a warm, motherly but sweet tone 'where is your mother child?' I looked up into her dark round eyes and said 'up with the spirits' she looked at me puzzled like she didn't know what I was talking about then nodded. She looked away into blankness for a while then said-I'll take you.

Chapter 2

Lola found out the other cubs name is was Tobi he was a bit older than her.

'we must leave for food' Tania the mother said, They arrived at a gully with a waterfall and bears fishing, 'oh oh I can do that!' yelled Lola watching other bears fish, so keen to join, 'stop!' Tania yelled holding her back with her paws 'this is the great bears lake, he's the leader-dont mess with the leaders'

Lola was frightened 'ok' she apologized, 'Now you to run off and don't get into trouble while I get food' and Tania runs off.

'so' Lola says 'where should we go?'

'hmm' Hums Tobi

'what about over there!' Lola yelled pointing to a garden on the other side of the lake

'let's go!'

The two run off, they get to the flowers and the ground sinks beneath them, they fall down a hole, off onto an edge of a cliff.

They scramble to their feet and look over the edge and freak out.

'What now!?' Lola asks frightened

'...uh.'-For once Tobi didn't know what to say

'we could yell...maybe.'

'it's no use'

But.. Mama said-'

'YOUR MAMA IS DEAD AND SO WILL WE BE!!!' Tobi shouts in anger moving away

Lola looks at him, tears in her eyes, and she walks away into the gap left from the fall and sits and sulks.

Chapter 3:

'don't cry Lola I was being a meany I'm sorry'

*sniff *sniff* 'It's ok...I guess...'

The two hug and cry together-they were stuck with nowhere to go, Lola leans over, 'our only way to survival is to jump'

'ok' Tobi says giving up on life

'ok..should I go first? I will on 3..1..2...-'

'together?' Lola suggests

The two link arms and jump.

Chapter 4:

Before they knew it they hit the ground 'BANG'

*Blackness*
