The tavern is surprisingly almost empty at this hour. The soft glow of lanterns and candles surrounds it. A gentle murmur of chatter washes over the place like a steady ocean, accompanied by a few musicians standing at one side of the room. The groups of people are isolated, keeping themselves to…

//Before I start you must forgive my terrible roleplaying skills! Hopefully I shall improve as this roleplay continues.

An elven women walked out of one of the back rooms, a scowl on her face and her arms wrapped tightly around her petite form as a drunk man followed after her. She sighed deeply before putting a charming smile and facing the man.

"Heheh, thanks for a good time." The drunk man slurred his words, falling slightly but griping the bar before he fell. The elf giggled a flirtatious laugh before placing her hand lightly on his arm.

"No, thank for showing a simple women how to have fun." She said sweetly. The drunk man laughed before leaving the bar no doubt he would end up passed out in a street surrounded by his own vomit. The scowl reappeared on the women’s face and she wrapped her arms back around her. "Bloody humans" she muttered under her breath before walking over to the man who seemed lost.

"Get out"

//Messed up my first reply, so oops, okay, trying again.

The lost looking man glanced up at her, startled.

'Get out?'

His accent was distinctly Orlesian, despite his looks, and at being addressed, his posture immediately straightened, his brown eyes wide in confusion.

'I'm sorry, I'm not quite sure I understand, whatever have I done wrong?'

The elven women sighed before raising her hand to her temple. She did not want to have deal with human men refusing to leave. Not today.

"Listen, let me explain to you how this all works; this tavern is strictly for people wishing to get drunk or to take advantage of the women who work here. Sometimes both, in fact all most always it is both. Since you have not finished your first drink you clearly won’t be buying a second and I do not see you walking into any of the back rooms with a waitress with a disgusting smile on your face, you must leave." She told him, having no patience for humans who do not understand the rules.

Like the man in front of her she too did not have an Antiva accent, however nor did she have an Orlesian one. She was also oddly pale considering she was in sun blessed Antiva. Clearly she was not from around here.

'Look, I paid for the drink, it's a quiet day, I'm not causing any trouble. I don't understand why I can't stay for even a little while longer.'

He saw no change in her dour expression, and sighed before continuing.

'I..I have a few sovereigns with me that you can have if you stop asking me to leave. You don't get paid much, right? So you can keep these if you don't kick me out. I've been relocated far too often lately, and I really don't want to have to leave somewhere again.'

He paused for a moment and held up a few golden coins to the elf, when she reached out for them, he pulled his hand back and held them tightly, aware of her rapidly souring expression.

'One more thing, just one more thing, okay? You're not from around here, are you? Oh, why am I asking, of course you're not. Where do you come from..? It's been a long while since I've seen anyone else from outside Antiva..'

She need the money, even if it was not much, she need it. The more she had the quicker she could get out of this hell hole and never let another human touch or speak to her again. A small smile appeared at the thought, but it was quickly replaced by her ever growing scowl. She noted how this seem to be her natural expression now - had things really gotten so bad she no longer smiled?
