part 2

Marshall's POV

I ran after bubba and as I finally caught up to him I turn a deathly pale.

I see her standing there in the doorway looking menacing as always. Bubba had gotten up and apologized for running into her, but she only gave him a dirty look which took him aback a bit.

Bubba turned to look at me.
"M-Mother?" Was all I uttered in fear of the sudden visit to the candy kingdom. Much less the surface. She then turned her head to me and grinned eerily.

"Hello my son, how are you?" I swelled really loudly. This woman has tormented me and abused me most of my life and she terrified me. After she forcefully kicked me out of my own home in the nitosphere, mentally verbally and physically abused me, and tried to force a girl to have sex with me to conceive a child so I would be controlled by her and rule the nitosphere forever, I never wanted to see her again.

"I'm fine....why are you here?" I floated toward bubba and pulled him behind me to protect him.

"A little birdy told me that you were in a relationship with a pink royal from this kingdom, I assume that's him? The one you're trying to hide" she pointed at bubba and he peeked his head out a bit.

"So? What business is it yours?" She looked back to me and started walking towards us. I took a few steps back trying to protect bubba as best as I could. I didnt know why she was here but she sure as hell wont get near him.

"Oh Marshall why are you walking away from your mother? Its disrespectful. Come here" she demanded. I was shaking this woman terrified me. I stared at her for a minute until I felt a hand grasp mine.

Gumball's POV

I grabbed Marshall's hand. It was very obvious he was scared and I didnt like that so I grabbed his hand and stood next to him in a defensive way. No one was going to hurt him. I wont allow it.

She laughed "are you serious? Marshall come here NOW" I could feel Marshall shaking hard he was glued to the spot on the floor. Me being the fast thinker and also prepared for almost any situation. I pulled out 2 glass orbs that contained two different chemicals. One was a smoke bomb and one emitted a loud sound that was an emergency alarm that warned people to run and escape.

I smashed both on the ground and pulled Marshall and ran. His mother was shocked and put her arms up to block the smoke but kept screaming for Marshall to come to her. Marshall was still shaking as I grasped his hand tighter.

Everyone had heard the alarm and went to run or hide. I pulled Marshall downstairs to my lab and locked the door.
"Sh-shes gonna kill us..." I whipped my head towards him and walked up to him putting my hands on his shoulders.

"Well I wont let that happen. We'll figure this out ok?" He nodded but I could tell he was still scared. I then walked over to my bookcase and pulled on a book that lead to a secret passageway. Marshall was shocked.

"Since when did you have this?" I grinned. "You dont know everything about me" we ran inside and the wall closed. I lead him down a stairway into a room full of weapons, chemicals glass bombs and food supply. This was my safe room incase anything happened I had it built.

"Wow bubba...I didnt expect this from you..." Marshall was astonished by the room since he was technically right I didnt like violence but if it was necessary I would use it.

"I created it as a precaution in case some monster or something attacked us and I needed the force to remove it" I was pulling out chemicals when Marshall looked down and looked really sad. "Monsters like me?" I whipped my head and see him rubbing his arm looking really depressed.

I practically ran over to him and hugged him tightly. "Dear glob Marshall no. Never. I made this a very very long time ago. Yes I didnt like how you harrassed my people but I swear to glob you are neither the reason nor a reason this room was created and these weapons will be used against."

He looked up and nodded. He started crying a bit and fell to the floor. I crouched down and held him as he started sobbing.

He was scared and didnt know what to do. "Oh Marshall. No one is going to hurt you not now and not ever again I promise you that" he nodded but was still crying.

We stayed like this for a while until we felt the room shake a bit and heard someone screaming.

We both looked up then at each other.

"Shes coming"
