"Our tattoos?" You asked as you looked at your hands.

"Yes, like when did you get it, which one is your favourite, do you regret any, and what do they mean." Said Lea and you nodded then looked at Shawn who's was smiling at you.

"Okay so.. I got my first tattoo when I was 17 almost 18. It's the guitar. Is a reflection of my city Toronto and the sound waves are my parents and sister saying I love you." Said Shawn showing his guitar tattoo which was placed on his forearm.

"I also have the lightbulb which kind of represents the Illuminate era and also has my mom's favorite flowers." He stated. "I have this little guy here. I've got it with my best friend Brian and speaking of matching tattoos I've got the elephant with my mom. I have an A on the back of my ear for my sister Aaliyah. Good luck tattooed on my arm which it was a rough decision. I mean I liked it but it kinda took me a few months to decide. And the butterfly I just liked the way it was. A fan did this and I was so impressed. I have this 8 here.. I just think is my lucky number Oh and my girlfriend's favorite.. the swallow. I was on tour and missing my family and I remembered that it doesn't matter how much time they spend away, swallows will always find their way back home." Said Shawn and you smiled, caressing his tattoo. "My favorite right now is the butterfly and to be honest I don't regret them." He added.

"What about you Y/n?" Asked Martin and you chuckled.

"I have this yin and yang tattoo. I wanted it since I was young. It just represents life you know? The bad and the good, the good that is in bad and the bad that is in good. The living and the death. Life." You say. "It's placed on the back of my neck." You added and Lea smiled.

"That's an amazing message." She said and you smiled.

"I have this rose here close to my wrist. I was kinda tipsy when I got it. It was one of my friends birthday and we drank then she wanted to get her mom's date tattooed on her wrist then while I was there I saw this beautiful rose so I just got it. But I don't regret it. I find it kind of pure and relaxing. And I also have a heart tattooed on my ankle." You said and Shawn smirked.

"And.." he said and you blushed.

"Is there any other tattoo?" Asked Lea and you glared at Shawn playfully.

"Actually yeah..I have it under my left breast and it says love." You said embarrassed.

"I bet that's Shawn's favorite." Joked Martin and Shawn kissed your hand.

"Okay now the question comes." Said Lea. "Would you ever ger a tattoo that signifies something about your girlfriend/ boyfriend?" She asked and Shawn chuckled.

"I wouldn't." You stated.

"I would." Said Shawn and you glared at him. You and Shawn had a few discussions about tattoos and he always made a big deal out of it, you just didn't understand why.

After the interview you two were in Shawn's car, he was driving to his condo since you lived in New York and didn't buy an apartment here.

"So you really wouldn't?" Asked Shawn and you groaned.

"Do you really want to have that discussion again?" You asked annoyed.

"You never gave me a reason though." He mumbled

"You never gave me the time to!" You said.

"Okay I am now. Why?" He asked and you sighed.

"Because Shawn.. you never know what can happen." You said and he looked at you kind of shocked.

"So you're saying we're not going to last or what?" He asked.

"I'm not saying I don't want to.. I'm just saying that you can never know. And I don't want neither of us to regret it. Relationships are like the future. Unpredictable." You stated.

"But what if that is the only thing that can bring us together again?" He asked. He had a point. Maybe if you guys ever break up and look at the tattoo, you just realize how much you miss each other.

"Isn't that love's role?" You asked and he sighed.

"Shawn why do you care so much?" You asked and he remaind silent. "You don't have to get a tattoo to show me that you love me. I already know and if anything write me a song." You joked but tried to reassure him.
