Same Night - Day One

Night - On the Road - Toddfather

Joyce was speeding the car down the road. Murray was in the passenger seat, on a radio. Natasha and Hopper were in the backseat.

Joyce looked at Murray. "Still nothing?"

"Nothing," Murray answered.

"Food court?" Hopper asked. "You sure they said food court?"

"I'm sorry, have my translation skills been letting you down?" Natasha asked. "Remember that I was born a Russian, Jim. I know what the hell they said."

"The Russians said that they found Nadia and Hailey with 'the other children'," Murray told them. "We don't know if it's all of your kids."

"Yes, we do," Joyce disagreed, driving faster.

Natasha and Hopper exchanged a look of worry and concern for each other and their kids.

Starcourt Mall - Food Court

Eleven and Niko were writing on the floor in agony due to their wounded legs, screaming, crying, while Nadia, Mike, Will and Hailey knelt next to them worriedly in horror. Steve, Ruby, Lucas, Max, Dustin, Nancy, Jonathan, Erica and Robin were standing or sitting around them, just as horrified and worried.

Hailey looked at the wounds, looking at whatever were moving inside of them. "What is that?"

"There's something in their wounds," Mike told them.

"You think?" Ruby asked.

Dustin looked like he could get sick. "Jesus Christ."

"Keep them talking," Jonathan told them. "Keep them awake, okay?"

Jonathan stood, running away to the Chinese food restaurant, leaping over the counter to get behind it, opening a drawer of knives, finding two of them, along with two wooden spoons and cloths. He walked over to the stove, turning it on to ignite a flame so that he could sterilize both of the knifes in the fire.

Will looked at Eleven and Niko worriedly. "Hey, hey, hey. Stay awake, stay awake."

Nadia took their hands. "El, Niko, it's gonna be okay. Let's get them on this side, on this side."

They moved them slightly to make it easier for them.

"You know, it's not actually that bad," Robin told them. "There was a... the goalie on my soccer team, Beth Wildfire, this other girl slid into her leg, and the bone came out of her knee, six inches or something. It was insane."

They all gave her a look.

"Robin?" Steve asked.

"Yeah?" Robin asked.

"You're not helping," Steve told her.

"I'm sorry," Robin apologized.

Jonathan ran back over with the supplies that he got. "Okay. All right, El, Niko, this is gonna hurt like hell, okay?"

Eleven sobbed. "Okay."

Niko could handle the pain a bit better than Eleven due to his Russian spy training, but was still in agony, nodding. "Yeah."
