In a far away land in (Nigeria)Africa resides a small clan of villagers who called themselves the IwaseOrisa-from the offspring of the gods
They believed that they came into existence through their Orisa(gods).
They believed so much in their gods even though they had no prior contact with them
It was just mere tales of their great grandfathers and from many generations that was passed on to them and they have grown
to believe in these tales and now see and boldly see themselves as people created by the gods
During the reign of Oba Ade-Orisa,calamity struck,famine became the news of the day,the farms refused to produce new fruits and food stuffs,the hunters hunted for animals all to no avail
After helpless attempts to find a way out of this famine
The elders held a meeting with the Oba(King)to find a solution to this unfortunate incidents
After the meeting a decision was made ,the elders and the king believed the gods were angry at them
What do we do then asked the king
He replied it's time to CALL ON OUR GODS
But how replied the elders
We have never communicated with the gods!
We don't even know who the gods are!
Who will help us talk to the gods?
Who are the gods?
Some even hissed and said
Do we even have a god or it's just a tale
But the king repeated himself again and said
It's time to CALL ON OUR GODS
