Poem #1

Music fills her ears;

The lyrics melting into picture;

Depicting the scene the music creates;

The emotions pouring out of the beat;

The tension filling the room through the noise;

And then the tension fades with the pictures;

Like the closing of a story book;

And the emotions flood away;

And it's just a girl;

And her headphones;

Trying to quiet the madness;

And the chaos around her.
