It was my friend, Carmens, birthday and she wanted to go camping. Of course I went with her, cause she's one of my closest friends. We walked around a bunch that night, just playing music and shit in the middle of the night. All night there had been these teenagers and shit walking around and being teenagers, just like us. There were these 5 or 6 teen guys who we both thought were cute, and I'm the blunt confident friend, so i told her multiple times that I would go ask for their numbers. She, of course, said no and we continued being teenagers. Well that night, we were in the tent. And the tent door was broken and we couldn't fix it so we just put a tarp over it. Well she said she didn't want to sleep near the door, I said I would. And I would 'protect her from the monsters' and shit like that, we both laughed and she got in her sleeping back and fell asleep. I didn't fall asleep though, and my phone was out charging on the electrical outlet, so i couldn't play on it. I was trying to go to sleep, I had my eyes closed trying to just fall asleep. But I had a sleeping problem at that time, where I would fall asleep but I could hear and feel everything around me. I was in that state, and I heard something moving around out side. But I tried to ignore it, I then heard someone walking right outside the tent. Like right next to me. And I could hear the shoes rub against each other when they walked, so i knew it was a person. But they didn't say anything, they just kept walking around. They accidentally touched the tent, right next to my head. I froze in fear, my senses started kicking in and I opened my eyes and I tried to move as quiet as possible to wake Carmen up. "Carmen... Carmen..." I whispered so quietly, I was wondering if I was actually speaking. I started poking her, nudging her to try and wake her up. She eventually woke up kinda, "Hm?" She hummed, I was freaking out at this point. "Dude, there's someone walking outside the tent. Listen.." I whispered, she stopped and listened. The noise had stopped, no moving, nothing. "There's nothing there. You're probably imagining it... just go to sleep." She said and slipped back into her peaceful slumber. A couple minutes after she fell back to sleep, I heard it again. I was frozen in fear, I couldn't move. It kept doing that for another 15 minutes or so, but it felt like forever. It was the most scared I've ever been in my life. I started moving again, trying to wake up Carmen again. She woke up again, out of it. "Dude, its back. I fucking swear, it's right fucking there man." I whispered, staring to where I last heard the noise. She listened for a few minutes, "There's nothing there. Come on, we can check it out." She said, grabbing a flashlight. I nodded and opened the tarp and got out. Nothing was there, no movement and both her parents were passed out in the car so we would've been able to hear the door open or close. I grabbed my phone from the charger and we went and told them we were going to the bathrooms. So we went to the bathroom and stayed for an hour or so. We headed back to the tent and passed out. We woke up and talked about it but she barely remembered it.
