Jaden pulled up to In & Out and only Josh was outside. We got out the car and I looked at the ground when we got up to him. "Where are the other goofs?" Jaden asked "On their way, Anthony is picking up Chase," Josh said as I played with my thumbs in my pocket. "Should we wait inside?" Josh asked. "Nah, we ain't eating here," Jaden said and I was confused. "So why did we meet here?" I spoke up and Jaden glared at me slightly. "Because we didn't know where else to meet at," Josh responded and a car pulled up. Anthony and Chase got out and Anthony looked at me questionably. "So, what are we gonna do?" Chase asked and stood next to me. I looked at him and he gave me a quick smile. "Can we just go to Starbucks the wander around for a bit?" I suggested and again Jaden glared at me. I didn't care anymore, I talk to Anthony all the time so why can't I talk to his other friends. "Sounds good to me," Chase said and I smiled at him. Jaden rolled his eyes and Anthony looked at me and Chase. "Actually that's sounds good," Josh said and Jaden groaned angrily. "Fine, lets just do that," Jaden said and stormed off to his car. I got in the front and the other three got in the back,Chase sat behind me. Once we got to the Starbucks, We got our stuff and sat outside. I sat with Jay and Chase was across from me. I sat there in silence listening to all the random shit they were talking about "Y/N?" Josh questioned, breaking me out of my thoughts. "Hmm?" I questioned. "What Does the C stand for?" Josh asked and Chase choked on his drink. I quickly hid the necklace in My shirt as Jaden looked at me. Jaden Grabbed the necklace and almost broke it off my neck. "Yeah Y/N, what does it mean?" Jaden asked. Jaden clenched his hand around the necklace, ready to break it before I finally spoke up. "It stands for California," I said and Jaden let go of the necklace. It fell back on my hoodie and Chase smiled. "That's nice," Jaden said and let out an unsteady breath. I could tell he was off. Anthony raised an eyebrow at Chase. "I'll be right back," I said and got up to go to the bathroom. When I closed the door I locked it and my phone buzzed, it was Anthony.

I put my phone in my pocket and opened the door. I bumped into someone when I stepped out. "Im sorry," I said really quick then looked to see who it was... "Brady?" I questioned and my heart sped up. "It's been awhile," He said and I nodded. "Yeah..." I stuttered. "I gotta go," I said looked over at the guys, which they were looking at us. "Wait, can we talk sometime?" He asked. "I can't, see ya," I said and tried to walk away but he grabbed my hand. "Please Y/N I miss talking to you," Brady said and I felt Jaden pulled me toward him. "Stay away from her, you Jackass" Jay shouted. Chase walked over and whispered something in Jaden's ear. Jaden nodded and passed me over to Chase. "I'll meet y'all in the car," Jaden said and passed Chase his keys. I looked at Jaden with a scared look and he hugged me. "Don't worry," Jaden said and he turned back to Brady. Chase took me to the car, Josh and Anthony followed us. Once we got in they all looked at me. "Who was that?" Chase asked. "My ex best friend/ first boyfriend," I said and he took a deep breath. I put my hand out and he held it. "He broke my heart and he's kinda the reason Jaden is so overprotective," I said. The driver side door opened and Chase let go of my hand ad fast as he could. "What did you say?" I asked when Jaden got in the car. "I told him to stay away from you," Jaden said and gave me a smile. I smiled and Jaden started driving home. Jaden told the guys they could spend the night on the drive home. Which meant I'd be locked in my room.
