"bill!"

i rubbed my eyes and carefully got out of bed.

"i'm coming..."

it was another boring school day.

man did i hate school.

i put on whatever was on top of my drawer.

i went into the bathroom to comb up my hair.

i stares at my reflection for a second before taking off.

i grabbed my backpack and said bye to my mom.

"bye sweetie, see you after school."

i just waited for the bus.

once i got on the bus i saw a couple of people laughing.

they were looking at a book.

i sat in the back.

pulling out my phone.

when the bus stopped at a familiar bus stop i put my phone away and sighed.

i pushed my hair back, i adjusted my jeans.

i bit my lip nervously.

finally a couple of kids got onto the bus.

and of course, the last person to get on was genie.

that's who i was waiting for.

she has been my crush ever since the fourth grade.

i looked down as she sat across from me.

i blushed a bit and pretended to be on my phone. 

"hey."

i looked up and around seeing who called my name.

"over here silly."

i looked, it was genie.

"uh... hey."

she had never talked to me before.

why today?

"i never see you around. what's your name?"

"seriously? we went to grade school together!"

i thought.

"uh... bill. we went to rocky together?"

"really? never seen you around."

she laughed.

i smiled, that was kinda cute.
